Biden gives McCain a bounce?

DENVER - Sen. Joe Biden has no bounce, at least according to the Gallup Daily tracking polls.

It's official: Sen. Barack Obama has received no bounce in voter support out of his selection of Sen. Joe Biden to be his vice presidential running mate.

Gallup Poll Daily tracking from Aug. 23 to 25 -- the first three-day period falling entirely after Obama's Saturday morning vice presidential announcement -- shows 46 percent of national registered voters backing Sen. John McCain and 44 percent supporting Obama. This is not appreciably different from the previous week's standing for both candidates. This is the first time since Obama clinched the nomination in early June, though, that McCain has held any kind of advantage over Obama in Gallup Poll Daily tracking.

The rolling polls at RealClearPolitics has Obama holding on to a 1.7 edge over McCain.

Tack on margins of errors and the race remains a tie.

If you do your homework mam, you will see that Hillary Clinton ‘s history is a wake of destruction for those who found themselves under her feet. She has been using sympathy to her advantage since well before she was First Lady. The media is making a saint out of her. Talk to some of her former staffers that caught her wrath, or look at the trail of bodies that surrounds their political history. Don’t be fooled. Sympathy for the wolf is what you have.

My father-in-law used the word “sleazeball.”

BTW - I would describe them as blue collar traditional/old school Dems.

They aren’t Hillary fans either.

Yes - I’m biased - but I think that Mitt is the grown-up/safe pick.
