Oh man, can you imagine, imagine my friends, if a Republican had said this? What would Olbermann be saying tonight?

Carter still never gets anything right. Obama is only 5% Black, and he is 45% Arab.

Too good!
This may be the first election where the GOP has more material than it could possibly make ads to fit it all.

It sounds really awkward, but in all fairness, Carter was referring to Obama’s boyhood and upbringing ... not calling Obama a “boy” now.
But it is true that, if a Republican had said it, we’d never hear the end of it.

I find the rest of the reference to be more offensive, the idea there is anything asatounding that an American starting out with “just” loving grandparents and mom could be running for president. This is not novel in America, just quickly Bill Clinton comes to mind with no dad and a working mom.

Also offended at the idea we should elect someone because they came from a simple background or because of their color. It’s the policies that matter, and that’s the only reason I don’t want Obama in the White House.

Why, there's nothing wrong with that! Carter referred to a boy growing up with nothing but a loving mother and grandparents. Even a Republican could say that about a black person without being criticized!

A perfect example of the double standard. Carter is certified radical extreme left, so he gets away with whatever he chooses to do.
Then there was Imus who said “Nappy headed hos” and the left erupted in hypocritical outrage.
