My new next door neighbors have 2 pit bulls. I cannot go into my own back yard without being snarled and barked at constantly. These dogs are vicious, mean and nasty creatures. I have a 5 ft. chain link fence between me and them. There have been signs of digging from their side. If any one or both of those dogs end up in my yard they are dead on sight.......

Have you talked candidly to them about their animals? You have as much right at your fence as those dogs - if it were me, I'd catch a “just right” breeze blowing their way and mace or pepper the hell out of them every time they start then use the excuse you're spraying dog repellent to keep their animals from burrowing under your fence..

i had the same problem at my old house....both of the damn things would charge the fence and stick their noses through them and try to bite whatever they could, while the owners sat on the patio and watched....one time we were laying landscape timbers when the things attacked....i happened to have a timber in my hands when they hit the fence...i believe i knocked a few teeth out of the mouth of one of the dogs....i then looked directly at the neighbors and asked if i could put up a privacy fence ( city ordinance required the neighbors approval to put up a privacy fence ) they had no problem, and the dog problems stopped
