Even excluding the veiled threats and wishes for Bush’s demise from Air America, I can’t think of a single one that has not had a “threat”, including small aircraft crash landing on the White House lawn, and Lynette Fromme forgetting to rack the slide on a 1911.

IIRC, Michelle Obama made some comment about the possibility, but originally the fear of assassination was from Colin Powell’s wife years ago when he was rumored to run.

I imagine there have been many threats. The MSNBC newsies were complaining this a.m. about “too much security”. They actually had the nerve to ask Mayor Hickenlooper for a key to the back door so they wouldn’t have to go through so amy checkpoints!

I’ve been watching for the press conference the article said was supposed to happen today. You’d think the MSM would be going nutso reporting this story during the DNC. The total lack of reporting makes me wonder what the real story is here.
