Anyone else notice that Michelle didn't Thank her Mom in her speech?
Didn't hear any of the pundits comment on this last night.
All it would have taken was six words, Thank You Mom, I Love You.
Opportunity of a lifetime to honor the person who raised and cared for you, gave you a great video intro, and you missed it.
Shame on you Michelle.

How about “I am racist, communist America hater?”

mothers don't matter. children don't matter. it doesn't matter when life begins.
Only one thing matter:
POWER.

She thanked her father but not her mother. Did she really miss those six little words? I find it hard to believe a child would honor one but not both parents.

More importantly, she described how Barack drove her and the new baby home ever so carefully from the hospital. Was this to cloud the FACT that Barack worked to make sure that other newborn babies would be thrown away to die in an ignominious manner?

The Obamas and the DNC are wrong about the American Dream.
The American Dream is that if you work hard, and persist, you can achieve great things.
Their American Dream seems to be centered on what you can get for free in America. Look at all that’s been given to the Obamas out of all proportion to their efforts and accomplishments.

"All of us -- driven by a simple belief that the world as it is just won't do -- that we have an obligation to fight for the world as it should be. That is the thread that connects our hearts. That is the thread that runs through my journey and Barack's journey and so many other improbable journeys that have brought us here tonight, where the current of history meets this new tide of hope.
"And, you see, that is why I love this country."
Read it again -- "Threads??????" -- "a simple belief that the world as it is just won't do." -- "and that is why ..."
That statement is BS -- it's just more negativity -- she still doesn't like America.

Actually, I don’t fault Michelle for not telling the world she loves her mother. I think there’s far too much of such obligatory, but essentially meaningless, “I love [fill in the blank with family member’s name]” declarations. You don’t see such declarations in politicians’ speeches in any other country, to my knowledge.
I’d much rather see detailed policy prescriptions from candidates than meaningless pap like “I love Mom.”
Of course, Michelle Obama isn’t a candidate, which makes her presence last night as the main speech-giver quite curious.

Six words Michele didn't say?
Die, Whitey, Die! Die Whitey, Die!
Bet she was thinking them.

I read the transcript. A nice focus group tested compilation of answers to all her off the cuff articulated negativity over the last few months.
I tend to believe the off the cuff comments much more than focus group scripted speeches.

I couldn’t watch the entire speech but did anyone also notice that the word “world” was used more than the word “country”.

How about the fact that when Obama went to Hawaii, he visited his grandmother - the woman who supposedly raised him - and he went alone, without Michelle or the grandkids. And he only stayed for about 30 minutes. I have wondered why this little angle hasn't been explored.
And don't tell me it's personal, he is running to be my President, he has no privacy.

She was too busy trying to make her dad Obama’s dad. Obama’s family is not the portrait they want out there, so MO had to try and portray her family as Obama’s — a strong black father being the key.
The 4 words MO didn’t use “I am an American”

If anything, Michelle’s mom has a meaner look on her face than Michelle. And it would appear that the youngest obama daughter is following in that vein.
