Most of the computer models show it heading on the path this map shows. NO will be on the right side of the storm; with a new moon to help the tides as well.
What kind of shape are the levees and pumps in?
I saw that track yesterday on weatherbug. If it’s true, it will be far west enough to spare N.O. major damage, I think. It’s over in the Morgan City/Franklin area, much smaller cities that are inland, so it will probably be down to a 2 or even 1 before it hits them.
If you search “new orleans pumps defective” there is a ton of info out there. Who knows what is true?
Time will tell.
I filled up the van just in case.
