Presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain may announce his choice for a running mate earlier than expected, sources told FOX News on Monday.
McCain had previously said he would announce his vice presidential pick on Friday and would appear with that individual at a rally in Dayton, Ohio, following the announcement. Friday is McCains 72nd birthday.
But sources close to McCains campaign told FOX News that his decision may come sooner than that possibly on Thursday, when Barack Obama accepts the Democratic nomination at Invesco field in Denver, Colo.
McCain campaign spokesman Tucker Bounds diminished the news.
I wouldnt much weight into reports that there are windows of possibility, he said.
Several names have come up repeatedly as McCains possible running mate, including former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge and, perhaps, Democrat-turned-independent Joe Lieberman of Connecticut. Also named is Gen. David Petraeus, the incoming head of Central Command.

She would be an instant WORLD Celebrity. She’d get more coverage than obambi biden AND McCain combined. She is a woman American Women could line up with and get all jazzed up about, without a doubt.
Are you following the Larry Sinclair story?
Which one?
Cocaine and Sex with obambi in 1999 and the following coverup by the Bidens in Delaware, trying to imprison Sinclair for some old charges about some money orders.
Yeah, I know about that one. I thought there might be a new one, other than Obama’s machine shutting down his website.
He is up on the web site again. In fact he is on the web radio right now.

That’s sick. Huck has his issues but he is no B.O.
To you he isn’t. To me he is. Call it what you will, matters not to me.
EXCELLENT post.
Good post. I agree, Huckabee is nauseating.
Right. Save the personal attacks on someone's looks for the amateur posters who don't know how to elevate their level of debate, then let the mods take it from there.
I wouldn't vote for Huck because he possesses this religious bigotry toward Mormons.
This is very interesting but I am afraid to get my hopes up. I like your logic and reasoning though!
Salute and crossing fingers.......
Oops My previous was response to the fact that Cantor is absent from the RNC speakers list.
I call it a nuts comparison. Period.
I don’t like Mormonism, but do like Mormons. I will agree Huck seems to hate Romney. That probably stems from his dislike of Mormonism.
I wasn’t attacking anyone. Unless Carly is a FReeper.
Well good for you! I prefer walnuts though.
