This is another sinkhole for taxpayers money. Every fugitive is placed into NCIC and every cop with a laptop can determine a suspects status within seconds. To create another database for fugitive records only makes the system redundant and ties up data entry to two data fields instead of one.

If someone is arrested in one state and its not recorded in any national database murderers and rapists can potentially escape justice merely by crossing state lines, said Sen. Biden. This is inexcusable. 20 million illegal immigrants. Just imagine how many potential murderers and rapists are in that segment of society.
We even have people who'd rather deport rapists who are in this country illegally under the mistaken belief that they will either be jailed back in their homeland or that they won't come back here.

Sounds good on the face of it but:
1. Biden is a Democrat.
2. Anyone who trusts a Democrat is not wise.
3. The entering of warrants by states is already being done.
4. Said law will only be enforced against his [Democrats] political enemies.
5. Beware of a Democrat bearing a gift.

Since pretty much everything is a felony these days, ol' Jackboot Joe ain't just talking about murderers and rapists.
This year, the state of Michigan has already bagged four escaped prisoners who were on the lam for decades apiece. I'm pretty sure the escapees might have jaywalked, littered or spit on the sidewalk a few times while otherwise keeping their noses clean for lo those many years.
I'm beginning to think that the police state has arrived, and we passed tyranny doing 80 mph a while ago...
