The Democratic convention delegate and Clinton supporter who appears in the latest McCain ad saying shell vote for the Republican, Debra Bartoshevich, has been kicked out of the convention.
Debra Bartoshevich is persona non grata at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, now that the former delegate from Wisconsin is the star of an ad in which she proclaims her support for presumptive Republican nominee John McCain.
In the TV ad, sponsored by the McCain campaign, Bartoshevich explains that while she was a proud Hillary Clinton Democrat, she is unhappy that Democrats are putting Sen. Barack Obama at the top of their ticket.
Bartoshevich says she is preparing to vote for a Republican for the first time because she respects McCains maverick and independent streak.
The ad concludes with Bartoshevich saying that with Clinton out of the race, now (McCain is) the one with the experience and judgment.
A lot of Democrats will vote McCain, Bartoshevich says at the end of the advertisement. Its okay really.
Bartoshevichs move has led to her ouster as one of Wisconsins delegates at the Democratic National Convention. But maybe shell find friends at a Happy Hour for Hillary in downtown Denver tonight.
The reception is being hosted by the Republican National Committee tonight, just a few blocks from the Democratic National Convention.

I don't know who's doing the McCain ads, but Wow! are they doing a fantastic job, and staying right on top of current events. Looks like they are even having fun with it.
Cue the McCain haters, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, go.
uh... McCain’s a damn sight better than any of the dhimmirat field...
is that hateful?
There have been other delegates who have refused to support the One that have had their convention credentials threatened. My guess is that they have not been allowed to participate.
Too bad Bush did not respond to attacks like McCain is doing. McCain is being very aggressive and very effective. Best political campaign I have seen in ages.
Bahahahahahaha!!!
I can kind of understand this...The Dems can’t take a chance that she’ll become a bigger news story during the convention...
Does that mean they're going to kick out Biden and other politicians who have said good things about John McCain in his ads?
bttt
GREAT point!
“Best political campaign I have seen in ages.”
Agreed. Like him or not he has put together one heck of a team, and the group putting together his ads are having way too much fun at it.
...”I don’t know who’s doing the McCain ads, but Wow! are they doing a fantastic job, and staying right on top of current events. Looks like they are even having fun with it.”...
But, I thought Mr. McCain is the “old” guy, whose campaign is full of “old guys” who know nothing about communicating in the modern Internet Era. At least, that’s what the MSM says in comparing Mr. McCain’s crew to Barack Obama’s crew. Go figure...Karl Rove at work.
They have to kick out Biden for saying so emphatically that Obambi is unprepared and unqualified.......
I heard Frank Luntz saying oh, big deal, voters understand that rivals say harsh things about each other during the primary campaigns.....
BUT, what the GOP needs to emphasize is that Biden’s REAL view of Obambi (when Biden was still trying to be honest) goes to the very core of qualifications for the Presidency. This is not one candidate saying another has flip-flopped on an issue or has taken some bad positions on issues, etc.
This was Biden saying, honestly, that Obambi is totally inexperienced and unqualified, which is TRUE and extremely important.
The DNC is playing with fire. This could have bad repercussions within the delegate system itself. I’m not too sure that most Dems are absolutely happy with the DNC and it’s handing of things this election season.
What a great ad.
The best part she’s good looking and from a battleground state!
Yeah Wisconsin!
Here be #1!
McCain's wet dream has come true! The Dems that he's been begging to vote for him since 2000 are finally onboard!
Why in the world would you expect "McCain haters" to stay out of a thread that shows just how big a mistake voting for McCain is?
And with him having a major voice in writing the Republican platform, you can bet it's going to be horrendous from a conservative perspective.
He treats Dems better than he treats conservatives.
Besides the "to stop the Dem", nobody's ever given me a good reason to vote for McCain.
Schmidt’s nickname is “The Bullet,” he’s awesome!
