“She may be good in 4 years, but she is still recouping from having a baby. Nursing is a very physical activity. How could she even campaign with a nursing baby?”
Depends on the woman. She’s seems to be a fairly tough one. Take the kid along and take a break every now and then. Heck, let the kid clamp on while campaigning. What is anyone going to say about it?
All that said, I personally don’t want to see Sarah Palin run. Which is difficult for me because I think she is far and away one of the most qualified. I just think Alaska needs her more than Washington does at this point.
“In 4 years, she may be able to run, but not with a newborn.”
I’m not seeing why a woman who has been working as Governor of Alaska suddenly becomes unable to run for V.P. because she has a four month old child. If she runs for V.P., she will have an entire entourage with her. There is no reason why she couldn’t have a nanny tagging along with her as well. She probably does already in her role as Governor.

Less experience that Obama, so she takes away the ‘ready to lead’ question McCain’s using to such great effect. With McCain’s age and health he can’t afford a veep with such a thin resume.
You forgot the </sarcasm> tag.
Who's to say that they will? Can we take that risk on someone with as thin a resume as Sarah Palin?
What is the magic about 'executive experience'? So she's been governor for 18 months. Jimmy Carter had twice as much executive experience as Palin has and it didn't help him much at all. Again, if you're going to make an issue out of your opponent's inexperience and question if he's ready to lead, it doesn't help your case to pick a running made with less experience and more questions on readiness than you opponent has.
McCain/Palin 2008!
That would leave out MYTH FLIP WILLARD RINO ROMNEY, he and his family have avoided military service en masse for the last 150 years.
I mean how many people can walk around and manage to say they had no immediate family members in the Civil and Spanish-American wars, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq I, or Iraq II?
FLIP WILLARD MYTH RINO ROMNEY can!
And his family has been here since the 1820's!.
My family has been here for 50 years and in that time like most American families has managed to serve in every war since WWII.
Romney is not qualified to send other peoples kids into harms way.
Good heavens, not Palin! She’d be impossible to impersonate on Saturday Night Live. Though it’d be great to hear her perform “The Mom Song” live. /s
No way. Get lost.
Hutchinson would be a strong step to wrapping up the election for McCain.
She’s been a solid conservative senator from a deep red state and has been re-elected with 60+% of the vote 3 times. She wouldn’t have lasted as a RINO in Texas for the last 15 years so I’m not sure where that claim is coming from.
Selecting her would be a shrewd move. It would give the ticket some appeal with suburban women and it would allow McCain to highlight his ‘maverick’ MO. Plus imagine the day after the Messiah gives his speech in Denver that the news is broken that McCain has selected a woman. The media will be all over that. That will take a bit of the wind out of the Demo’s sails.
Again, the only objection would be on her abortion stance, but do you really believe Obama would be more likely than McCain to appoint a justice who would overturn Roe?
Hell NO
“There are at least a few women who have the right stuff.”
See _this_ post I made in another topic a few minutes after I replied to this thread:

I should have made mention of it in this topic, as well.
Mrs. Thatcher was an unusual woman (and I chose those words with great care). We do not see her type often, at least in politics.
There is not one woman - not one - currently in American politics who had the constitution that Mrs. Thatcher did.
Certainly not Kay Bailey Hutchinson.
Certainly not Sarah Palin.

It wouldn’t be good for the baby to be moved around the country like that. Babies need to be put on a schedule, especially special needs babies.
On top of that, most down syndrome babies have a slew of medical problems that need to be addressed. Her new baby is probably already getting occupational therapy in early intervention.
I know my daughter who had brain damage started getting therapy twice a week when she was a baby.
Down syndrome babies are typically low muscle tone, so I would imagine that the baby needs daily therapy to learn how to sit up, walk, eat, etc. They do this will all high risk babies, and they don’t wait until there is a problem. (That’s why it’s called early intervention.)
Condi Rice.
Smart
Articulate

What a leader, VP she would be
NO RINOS!
This is a troll article to get McCain to screw up.
