Smart move in an attempt to bring unity to the party........
DENVER Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, hoping to united the Democratic Party and cement her future in it, will gather her hard-won primary delegates Wednesday at a reception where she is expected to formally release them to Barack Obama. Clinton has invited her pledged delegates to a reception at the Colorado Convention Center, not far from the main Democratic National Convention arena.

This is SO funny. The scene from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar comes to mind. You know, where all the senators come together and stab Caesar in the back. Hehehehehehe... These people are so stupid.

Why would she want to do that just when her Florida delegates are being restored and Michigan is a good bet to follow? It makes no sense.
Hopw can she pull off the coup that way?

A Democratic official told The Associated Press Sunday, a day before the convention begins, that she is expected to release her delegates at the Wednesday event. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to discuss details publicly. Which side of the Dem divide is this official's affiliation?

She wouldn’t be waiting until Wednesday if she wanted “unity.”

The key word here is expected. There is a big difference in saying "Hillary says she is going to release her delegates" and saying "Hillary is expected to release her delegates". It sounds to me like wishful thinking of the Obamamites.

Post Script to my comment #18, if she does release them(which I doubt) the Puma people will feel betrayed by her as well as the party, the brown stuff will surely hit the fan big time.

Releasing delegates doesn’t mean anything. IMHO Obama will not accept the nomination. He is going to hear the word from God that it isn’t his time yet and tell his delegates to vote for Hillary.
After showing her good will in releasing her delegates, the vote will commence and she will receive the nomination. Courtesy of Obama. She will then select Obama as her VP.
And the world will rejoice. And the media will go nuts. And Obama will be revered. And history will be made. And Clinton will play every McCain commercial that praised her. And her debt will be paid off. And the RATS will forever remember that it was Operation Chaos that made this happen. And the Fairness Doctrine will be passed.
Thanks Rush.
