We all know Biden is a joke as a VP selection. But there must be a reason he was selected. Here's my take on it. Hold on to your tin-foil hats for just a little longer:
Al-quaida is very much into symbolism. They picked September 11 to symbolize 9-1-1, the national emergency phone number.
The symbolism of an Obama-Biden ticket being so close in spelling to o-b-l would have Al-quaida fans jumping in the streets should bho win this election. They are probably already convinced that o-b-l is running for POTUS in spirit.
There are some moles in the Obama camp that are snickering wickedly.

Not true. As one possible example, having Sarah Palin as VP can truly succeed in making any attacks upon her look very bad for the Democrats. This would be a missed opportunity for a major overall boost for McCain, if he does decide to not pick Sarah Palin as his VP, IMHO. The VP debate would certainly be interesting with her in it. I still see McCain picking a non-conservative as his VP and upsetting the majority of conservatives by doing so.
Biden was picked - in part - to get to the 69,000,000 Catholics in America. Bad choice bambi.

Exactly. He needed a replacement for his wife Michelle, who his campaign has muzzled except for the scripts they give her. They jumped out of the frying pan into the fire, though. Biden's mouth is going to be just as big a problem as Michelle's was but they won't be able to muzzle him. LOL

What the hell do you mean? The Catholic church opposes abortion and the death penalty. Hitlery favors both I believe.
Biden was picked because he’s the chair of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.
He’s an attack dog.
In that sense, he’s good for Obama. Biden can attack McCain directly on foreign policy gaffes and get under his skin.
In a different sense, it prevents McCain from picking several people for Vice President. McCain will have to pick someone with heavy experience on policy issues, and that counts out many of the “attractive” choices.
This was a terrible choice for the dims. No one voting for this ticket wouldn’t also have voted for obamahitlery.
Many would have supported him and increased his buzz if he had picked her.
And exactly how would this truly help Obama win on November 4? Negative attacks often turn off voters, especially too many negative attacks. Also, Joe Biden truly doesn’t equal “change in Washington D.C.” among a finite number of other problems with Joe Biden!
