Clarice Feldman lays out the reasons why the William Ayers/Annenberg Challenge story will seriously damage the candidacy of The One. A sample:
...the story was that Ayers was an old professor in Mr. Obama’s neighborhood who just happened to host a fundraiser for him in 1995 which launched his political career.
Some mush was thrown in along the way about having served with him on a charity board, but Obama did not correctly describe the charity or the dates or the extent of their association on it.
The truth is that the two men worked closely together for years, beginning several months before that 1995 fundraiser. The fund Obama chaired and which was supposed to improve public education in Chicago never met its stated purpose of improving public school pupils’ performance and, in fact, probably hindered it, despite having blown through $110 million in the process. And as chairman of this group Obama funneled this money to politically useful types including Fidelistas and Maoists who like Ayers (now vice-president elect of the American Education Research Association) are working to make our public schools indoctrination centers for the left .
Once the public learns more of the CAC, will the voters decide that the manner in which Obama exercised his sole opportunity at executive authority was so good that he deserves the keys to the Oval Office?
What story will?
A pro-nuclear power, pro-drilling statement?
A statement against gun control?
Did he say something about the Iraq war being a good thing for the world?
Did he point out that the income tax never taxes “rich”, just those who are trying to make money?
Nope. This is just an anti-American supporting another anti-American. The media won’t even mention it in passing.

The last 20 years, and particularly the last 4 years, have been devastating for patriotism and honor in the U.S. We are now faced with the prospect of actually having the lunatic, traitorous left succeed in getting a hard line marxist elected POTUS.
If McCain cannot convince the third of Americans who are wishy-washy "centrists" that Obummer is not a good choice, and the left gets all of what they want, Obummer just might try to be like Chavez....
I will be 71 years old in Nov. and this is the scariest election in my lifetime.
I understand why that would cause some confusion. However, as someone stated above, McCain was up by 5 points before the church forum, in which he killed Obama, so it would make sense that he’d be up more than 5 points now. However, I can’t find any link to prove it, at the moment.
The Admin Moderator will almost certainly delete this comment [in 3, 2, 1 seconds...], but if you were "one of the poor folks living in Chicago’s south side", then you wouldn't be intelligent enough to wonder "why the likes of Obama and Wright and Biden live in multi-million dollar digs" while you lived "in public housing".
Moral of the Story being that, in the long run, people tend to get the kind of government that they deserve.
This story will get zero coverage by the MSM and other than in blogs and maybe on Fox News will this ever see the light of day.

So - when The-One-We-Have-Been-Waiting-For proposes neat goodies like free college, free health care,subsidized green tech, free daycare, free preschool, free abortions,and new civilian peace-keeping force - we can’t look at any previous work he can point to and say “there! I set out to accomplish something and I did it!”

If they are confronted with the photos/bios of the murder victims and if grieving family members come forward - that is something that is not easily ignored.
They need to show America - “Here! THIS man was murdered by David Ayers and his friends! THIS man’s life means nothing to Obama or he wouldn’t have befriended one of the murderers!”
Well, B.O. - this just means that you will have to live to at least a hundred and stand and deliver in the patriot category. So, start taking better care of yourself, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
(If Obama - another B.O., at least you have that in common with him - is not elected this time, the likelihood of Hillary still being viable in the next election is still with us. If he does get elected this time, the public will soon get a belly full of his “change” and the Democrat Party will go the way of Carter. - I worry more about a royal dynasty takeover by the Clintons than anyone.) Obama won’t have the advantage of the Reagan economic results that Bill Clinton had a decade later that made BC look good.
