Well, Obama sure wanted to shore up his liberal base didn’t he? He wants a strong liberal ticket.
In 2004, both Kerry and Edwards were very liberal as well in these ratings.
So which groups of voters will Biden pick up for the ticket? Which states can he help with?
This does nothing to help Obama with “middle America”. This ticket will do very well in the northeastern states, the upper midwest, and the Pacific coast states. Mc Cain may carry every state from Virginia/West Virginia all the way down to Florida, and across to Texas, and up the great plains and Rocky Mountains up to Idaho.
Biden sure doesn’t seem like a “game changer” veep candidate.
