I noticed “Barack Obama’s mentor and longtime friend Jerry Kellman, “ will also speak at the Dem Convention. I wondered who he is.

Well, I found that he is the one who hired Obama as community organizer and he himself went to Chicago to “organize under Saul Alinsky”.

“Jerry Kellman came to Chicago, a product of the ‘60s and the anti- war movement, to learn how to organize under the legendary Saul Alinsky “

Why is it “fair” to tax the rich at a rate higher than other people? The only reason it’s done is so that politicians can get their hands on more money. They can then use said money to bribe voters with various giveaways.

I suggest you do a little more research. The Fair Tax concept was first conceived by a group of Houston businessmen in 1994 based on $20 million dollars of research. The following link provides more detail Fair Tax Movement

similar ideas were being discussed when i was in college in the seventies.

yes, they were later formulated.

but my point is the same:

the irs stays.

the u.s. government enjoys controlling your life. and mine.

Compare and contrast with McCain:

“I DON’T WANT TO TAKE ANY MONEY FROM THE RICH. I WANT EVERYBODY TO GET RICH. I DON’T BELIEVE IN CLASS WARFARE OR REDISTRIBUTION OF THE WEALTH. “ — McCain at the Saddleback Forum.

Wrong again. You refute your own statement. No idea similar to The Fair Tax was conceived. The fundamentally significant difference between them and The Fair Tax is the former plans allow the IRS to remain while one of the key elements of the Fair Tax is to abolish the IRS! They couldn't be more dissimilar! These comments only reaffirm my previous suggestion for you to research The Fair Tax.

Fairness demands the opposite.....hit the lottery winners...NOT the rich. Make the slow moving and lazy get going. You know in the US, the rich are working their heads off and the poor are laying around collecting from the government troug.

i remember similar ideas being discussed in the seventies.

They weren't similar to The Fair Tax if they included maintaining the IRS.

i never said the plans included the irs.

i said that the u.s. government will never give up the irs because they enjoy having control over peoples’ lives.

good bye.

Marxist economics is exactly why the Obamas have to be sure that they stir up all kinds of class and wealth envy and hatred (like of those who have seven houses). It will be useful when the redistribution of wealth occurs.

And according to him apparently everyone making more than $30K a year is rich.

Note the increase of marginal tax rates for everyone:

Bottom line, Leftists like Obama honor the Lie. No matter what he says now, good or bad, will be unimportant and non operative once he gains power.

“The top tax rate will go from 36% to 39.5%.”

To tempt others to sin is far worse than to sin oneself. BO tempts his followers to covet other peoples’ property. It’s that simple. Appealing to the banal side, the wicked side, of the human soul sometimes works. Thank God that BO has made so many goofs in all 57 states. I think I’ll go inflate my tires.

Maybe BO should get the money needed from his magical banking committee?
