When it comes to John McCain’s running mate, several political observers are saying U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham shouldn’t be counted out.

“I don’t think (his selection is) out of the realm of possibility,” said state Republican Party chairman Katon Dawson. He added that “it’s very exciting and a compliment to Lindsey Graham to be on the short list for vice president.”

I have no doubt Graham has grand ambitions, but no way McCain will pick him for VP. He just comes across as, well, not very manly. I actually like him, though I don’t agree with him on some points.

If McCain pick Graham, he’s toast. This is nothing more than wishful thinking from McClatchy.

And as Vice President, Lindsey Graham’s 2nd lady (a wife) will be? Oh, that’s right, he doesn’t have one, and never has. How old is he now?

Out of all the possible running mates McCain could potentially choose, I could not think of a WORSE choice than Lindsey Graham. If McCain wants to definitely lose this election, then yes, pick Graham. If he wants to WIN, he needs Mitt Romney.

Graham is already McCain’s Manservant. I don’t think the Constitution permits serving as both Vice President and Manservant.
