After much searching, I found out that the “Monitor” is published and located in McAllen, Texas.

When will these small town newspaper websites start learning to identify themselves with their complete name and location? They could be anywhere. I thought the Monitor was in Australia.

How does a 1000 pound person function? How do you get up or walk? How do you go to the bathroom or clean yourself?

How is it even possible to gain or weigh 1000 pounds? How much do you have to eat to weigh that much?

I don’t want to even think or know about this.

Years ago a fat woman (Melungeon) was arrested for moonshining. She was so fat they could not get her out of the house. When the judge asked the sherrif why she wasn’t in court I think the sherrif said “ your honor, the woman was catchable but not fetchable”. Something like that. When she died I believe they lifted her out through the roof of the house. .
