As Obama's very big adventure gets underway in Denver, he has a problem.
Lots of problems, actually.
First, Obama appears to be prompter-dependant. The story that he cannot string together coherent arguments away from a prompter surfaced on Thrusday and Rush gave it huge legs. Now even the MSM will be watching to see if The One is using a virtual cheat sheet on the road.
Then there's the lingering triple play of scandals: Obama's vote and speech against the Born Alive Infant Protection Act that stuns and repulses even moderate pro-choicers; his ties to Bill Ayers and the ongoing cover-up of the documents surrounding that relationship by the University of Illinois; and of course now that houses are at the top of the news cycle, the Obamas' sweetheart house deal with crooked financier and Obama mentor Tony Rezko. That's ten weeks worth of scandal floated in one day. And inquiring minds want to know if there's more Illinois State Senate audio where the Born Alive Act sound came from.
Then yesterday, Obama praises the "vastly superior" infrastructure of China. Again, off-prompter means over the cliff with Senator Empty Suit. Central planning and near-slave labor can accomplish such wonderful things!
Given this sort of week, which followed three similar weeks and poll numbers falling faster than John Edwards' chances of being a key Obama surrogate, it was to be expected that the flailing candidate would grab for John McCain's hesitation at knowing how many houses he owned.
To which Team McCain quite rightly replied: At least the McCains paid for their houses, which invites the MSM to --finally-- take a close look at the Rezko-Obama deal and the long relationship behind it.
All of which sets the stage for Obama's big week in Denver.

McCain's "The One" ads are among the best ever produced by a presidential campaign. Using light humor to deflate a Rushmore-sized ego built on a Alfred E. Neuman resume was a brilliant stroke that sent Obama reeling and from which he hasn't yet recovered. A mass-rally to chanting thousands isn't going to help either.
Obama was supposed to be 20 points ahead coming out of Denver. He'll get a bounce, but then its back on the trail and off the prompter. Exciting times ahead for the Dalibama.
Robama. GIGO.
To paraphrase ...”Time wounds all heels”.
Hillary = Nail + Coffin
I'd give Hillary a call. Betcha she could tell ya!
My first thought was that if Hillary had access to these audios, she would have used them earlier to keep Bambi from “winning” the primary.
However, on second thought, a radical abortion viewpoint in a dhimmirat primary would be a bonus.
Well, he seemed to do OK in the Primary Debates. However, McLame will clean his clock in the Presidential Debates, just like Cheney did to Lieberman.
LIEBERMAN: ... I'm pleased to see, Dick, from the newspapers that you're better off than you were eight years ago, too.
CHENEY: I can tell you, Joe, the government had absolutely nothing to do with it. (LAUGHTER) (APPLAUSE)
LIEBERMAN: I can see my wife and I think she's saying, "I think he should go out into the private sector."
CHENEY: I'll help you do that, Joe.
Priceless.
This guy is just...seriously...how can....wow.....
Interesting equation, now look at this:
Obama = Smoke + Mirrors
“...he cannot string together coherent arguments away from a prompter”
Can you say BOUNDER!!!!!!
He’ll get a small bounce, and then McCain will speak, and the Fuaxbama train wreck will continue on in earnest. I’ve said this long ago, Fauxbama is on track to make George McGovern look good. He’ll be insanely lucky if he gets 40% of the vote come election day.

Actually its going to be closer to Cheney v Edwards... and Fauxbama is so out of his league, he may actually make Edwards look good by comparison.
I was convinced Hillary was going to usurp Bambi at the convention, but have realized the argument that she can't because she would piss off the black base makes sense. I can't figure out what she is up to.
The half-brother story pops up, the audio tapes pop up - somebody is working to undermine Bambi. My money is still on Hillary.
Hence, eventually, Obama edged past Hillary, and because he was/is ill-prepared it caught everyone off-guard. They know he isn't ready to be Presidential material. Obama knows it too, which explains why he acts grandiose and presumptuous. Acting high and mighty is a protection for those afflicted with fear and a low self-esteem. Obama is trying to talk himself into feeling like a leader. Everyone is saying he will be, so he thinks that by assuming the persona of the role now, he will be able to convince himself that he is what they are saying. He is pompous and arrogant - you know...like when someone can't do something they act like the big-know-it-all who can.
But, as is obvious, Obama can't get prepared in a few short months to compete with politicians who have had years at practicing their dirty tricks and covering their lies and frauds. Obama's lies have surfaced fast and furious. He had not had the time to build a network of people who would protect him. Those people just came on board when he did, they have no skill at this game either.
As for his ability to speak intelligently in an extemporaneous manner, he has none. He is not at all aware of foreign diplomacy tactics, or the intricacies of the world situation and handling of other leaders and their egos. All this is becoming very obvious and Obama is slipping down that ladder he climbed in a few months like a greased pig. His oratorical skills are limited to words he can deliver like scripted theatrical performances. When confronted with a serious question for which he had not prepared, or no one had written the response down for him, he stutters with ahhhhs, and ummmms, and says stupid things like "that is above my pay grade" because he has no answers, no clear knowledge, and no real background in the issues.
Obama, behind close doors, is probably shaking in his empty suit. This is not what he thought it would be. Instead of training, he got sent to the front line, and he is ill-equipped for the real battle. He will go down, and Hillary will be pulled out of the shadows where the Dems put her for a while - while the heat against her cooled down. And, it has given the Clintons time to apply the pressure they are so capable of doing through their machine. I think Obama will acquiesce to Hillary, and has already probably been made aware of that need. That is why the Clintons have been selected to hold so many spotlights at the convention, and Hill's name is to be on the roster. No one wants to admit - on the surface and in open conversation - that Obama might fail, but they can't take the chance of loosing Hillary. So the powers-that-be have provided her with as much support as possible but just enough so as not to irritate the faction of America that still is enraptured with the idea of Obama in the White House. Obama feels and knows this, Michelle (who has been out of the scene lately) feels and knows this. Right now it is just a game of hanging on for appearances sake. At least, IMHO.
Very well could be she’s setting up for 2012, with a dramatic “I told you so” after Bambi’s catastropic loss.
If she steals the nom at the election, she’ll probably lose the general, and the dhimmirats will be disarray for the foreseeable future.
I’m frankly hoping for the latter scenario so that the 2012 election could be between McCain & the GOP on the LEFT, and a new conservative party on the right.
Of the legal vote. I don't underestimate the ability of these RATS, especially the Chicago-trained ones, to cheat.
mark for later
