Two Republicans who know say McCain has settled on Mitt Romney as his running mate. Developing...

I was bettin' on Mitt. Feb 5, 2008 position vs. Feb 6, 2008 position.
Anybody who can lose my money that fast is worthless. =:-O
The behavior of the Rombneybots are mostly what turned me off Romney more than a year ago...
Since they reflect his attitude, I dont want him anywhere near the white House...
Why should I vote for someone so abusive and vile ???
I expect my POTUS to act like a gentleman and decent...
Not like a junk yard dog...
Actually - it was a result of my pushing.
I’ve been dealing with the Mitt haters for a while and I’ve learned that, with some poking and teasing, you can get most of them to spill the REAL issues which are:
1. The hate Mormons/Mormonism
2. They view themselves as superior Christians.
Hey that so called “prophecy/foreordain” about Romney being VP and POTUS came from somewhere...
RomneyBots dont lie...
They’re dead serious...
I’ll fight my battles my way - you fight your your way.
I hate bigots and idiots and afford them ZERO respect.
Mitt’s support in the primaries always seemed lukewarm, no matter how much money he spent....except in one part of the country, the mountain West, where large Mormon minorities came out in large numbers and voted 95% for him. What adding Mitt to the ticket means, if it happens, is that Nevada, Arizona, and Colorado look better for the Repuublicans with this move.
Michingan is a lost cause. It’s a state where one out of every 8 people receives some kind of government assistance. That’s not a place where a Republican can win.
“Can’t remember which little state that was.” I think you are refering to W Va. The huckster gets to speak for about 20 minutes at the convention but he wasnt even being considered as a VP.
“We just have Mitts word, and I just find it hard to believe someone could have such a profound change at his age with no real outside catalyst.”
I’ve heard his story...his “pivot point” and I believe him. I understand that others don’t and that’s fine.
“Sorry for my earlier approach.”
No offense taken.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Accusing people who don’t favor Romney for VP of being bigoted against Mormons is the same as Obama clowns calling us racist if we don’t want to vote for him.
WTF do you mean Listen up?. If your post doesn't make any more sense than it does, I am under no obligation to "listen" to it.
JimRob has said...
Are you channeling JimRob again? Do you have some special connection? No, you don't. Appeal to Authority is a sign of weakness. Try to make some sense and you won't need it so much.
I support Mitt
Your generalization of Tennesseans is quite ignorant and immature. It's a discussion of differences. Grow up.
Bull Butter. The only thing relevant in my post was you being disrespectful to one lady in particular and to all others with whom you disagreed.
You are doing no service to Romney nor to yourself. I wasn’t trying to be your mommy. I was providing an opinion and whether you wanted it or not, you got it. This forum is here for just that purpose, to share info and opinions.
FURTHERMORE- You have a chip on your shoulder the size of Gibraltar.
hate bigots and idiots and afford them ZERO respect.

We know...You are not a bigot nor a racist ...
So you are going to vote for Obama...
I do hope Hillary is the VP...
Because you are not a sexist either...
Geez, is this some inside joke or something? I hope so, otherwise, it being kind of late in TN, you might be sundowning .
No, the Supreme Court as presently constituted would strike it down. And as soon as it passed, it would be immediately challenged by the left, and so the enforcement of the law would be suspended.
If we get another conservative justice on the court, however, to replace say Stevens or Ginsburg, then yes, Congress could pass a law banning abortion (much like the partial birth abortion ban, only more comprehensive). It would be challenged by the left, and eventually make its way up to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court could then uphold the law as constitution, and reverse its prior holding in Roe v. Wade. Stare decisis, my butt, liberals. They can eat it- over and over and over.
Regardless, I believe he changed his mind personally and not just politically,
Believe away, Mitt has to show me he's the next great conservative hope first, and so far, he hasn't.
Lighten up Francis.
Plus - I’ll be mean to bigots all day if I want.
have you been reading what's been posted over the past year? Yeah - didn't think so...
You comment should be deleted. The comment was far too thoughtful ,intelligent and conservative for this thread. :)
