There's trouble in paradise. Cancel the coronation. Send back the commemorative medals. Put those Yes We Can T-shirts up on eBay. Keep the Change. Barack Obama's historic procession to the American presidency has been rudely interrupted. The global healing he promised is in jeopardy. If you're prone to emotional breakdown, you might want to take a seat before I say this. He might not win. How can it be, you ask? Didn't we see him just last month speaking to 200,000 adoring Germans in Berlin? Didn't he get the red carpet treatment in France - France of all places?

“...200,000 adoring Germans in Berlin[.]”
Didn’t we win the war?
Actually they heckled/mocked him. Listen closely to the crowd.
“The key to understanding the presidential campaign as it enters its phase of maximum intensity is this. The more the campaign is about the concerns of the American voter, especially the state of the economy but also the general anxiety about the direction of the country, the more likely they are to throw the Republicans out”
Except for energy costs and drilling for new oil. Dems have a problem here and Republicans have to capitalize on it. They need to tie the cost of gas and heating oil to the economy and blaim it on the Democrat/environmentalists.

Har. Made my day with that one...
Yes we CAN, but it doesn’t mean we SHOULD!
Free Food
Free BEER!
Two top Rock bands (with Obama in between them)
and they STILL only got about 25,000 - 35,000
The press lied (surprise) about the attendance.
Have you seen the Olympic stadium in Beijing ?
That's 91,000 people when it's packed to the gills.
Obama's claiming over twice that many....on three streets that are 130 ft wide and all lead directly away from his podium....
Yes you can get about 15,000 in the area immediately in front of his stage but there wasn't another 185,000 on those three streets... it's ridiculous to make the claim in the extreme..
Priceless!!
Well worth the read..........
Excellent !!
Obama will not win. In spite of all the discontentment with the current Republican president & the lackluster campaign of grumpy old John McCain, Obama is running even with McCain! And don't forget, White people lie in polls when race is an issue. The reality is that Obama is already behind.
The Bradley effect will come into play when the voters enter the privacy of the voting booth. From what Ive read it can amout to as much as 10 percentage points.
"a great orator.....and raising unemployment"....uh?
And THAT is the nail that McCain must hammer on every single day. Sprinkle a few good commercials about what McCain has done as a senator who has staunchly opposed pork and abortion, but the main focus is to make sure the people know that Obama is all style and no substance.
“And don’t forget, White people lie in polls when race is an issue. “ john hewitt, indiana
when i read comments of those who claim to be americans, it’s embarrassing and sometimes it appears hopeless for the future of this country
“White people lie in polls when race is an issue.”
Please...
I am so tired of the race issue....
the kid (0bama)simply isn’t qualified....
That is the bottom line....
I could not vote for the kid if he were white...
How did SO many blacks get elected to office ?? There were not enough blacks to do it alone.......
Damn...some white guys must have thought that they were qualified and pushed the button... IMHO. :-)
While it sounds untoward, and definitely un-pc, it’s actually a true statement, and very basic sociology. It’s like if someone is at a party and almost everyone there is for Candidate A. When a poll is taken, those who are for Candidate B will often pretend to be for Candidate A just because it’s easier. It’s simple human nature.
“Maybe We Can’t”
