Send his brother a “Sarah Palin for Vice President” t-shirt to wear.

I agree this looks bad on Obama, but lets be realistic. He met this half-brother exactly twice in his life. They never had a relationship as children, so who would expect them to have one as adults? Not I.

Not you, OK. But then again, you're not running around lecturing hard working Americans about how "we still don't abide by that basic precept of Matthew: that whatever you do for the least of my brothers, you do for me," and you're not authoring and pushing federal legislation to forcibly take $845 billion of hard working Americans' money and send it to Africa (and God knows where else) to fight "global poverty."

So I think this is a totally legitimate issue in this case, and I think Obama absolutely deserves to be nailed on this.

However,.....Obama is the one telling US that we should pay MORE in taxes to help these kind of people......no one in my family is running around telling people I should pay more in taxes for them.

Really really REALLY stupid idea.Amazing that Freepers should suggest such a thing as putting a stranger on welfare.Hells Bells he isn’t even homeless.Come on people let’s not encourage giving a stranger money without even asking them to WORK for it.I really am disappointed in some of you......

...then dinner at Hooters...

OK, but expect him to be way more interested in the chicken wings, where he lives, it must look like National Geographic.

"Ladies and gentlemen, in lieu of our regularly scheduled broadcast hour, I, Rush Limbaugh am giving over an entire hour of today's show to help a friend in need...

For you see, ladies and gentlemen, it's been brought to my attention that the bother of our presidential candidates is Barack, I mean to say, *broke* and in dire need of our assistance.

So that we may release Mr. Obama from any concerns that he might otherwise have about his impoverished brother, it is my hope that each of you might, when you call in today, tell me how much you would pledge (if this were a telethon) to help Mr. Obama's brother get a leg up. This telethon will be done in the liberal spirit, as it should be, in that no money will actually be collected. We'll simply agree that, as with all other liberal programs, our good intention will suffice. And then we'll hit up the government.

At the end of the program, I'll let Mr. Obama know how much we've raised and how much you the taxpayers have saved today!"

I agree, just don’t get the attitude. Sounds like the GPA is a good idea for some.

Barak is all over McCain for not knowing how many houses his family owns. But Obama took in $4 million last year, while his youngest brother lives in a 2 meter by 3 meter (6.6 by 9.9 ft.) shack and lives on $12 a year.

Obama says his favorite bible teaching is the one about being your brother's keeper. So I guess that clears up the mystery about what Obama thinks is the threshold of being "rich." No one, apparently, needs more than $12 a year. Or any more than 6 square meters of living space . . .

What are you trying to do by raising George Obama's $12 annual income manyfold - turn him into a slumlord who owns lots of 6-square-meter shanties?

Obama believes we don’t give enough to charity or that we don’t help our fellow Americans

Liberals don't believe in charity, they believe in welfare instead.

The brother told Vanity Fair that he would like to go to technical school to better himself.

Why give with your money when you can give with somebody else?

I can envision a SNL skit where they do a takeoff on the late night commerical with the bearded white man walking and saying “you can change the life of this brother of a democratic presidential candidate by sending just $12 a year! Won’t you help?”

Why give up your hard earned money for charity when you can force someone else (who obviously does not work as hard as you do) to give up their money for welfare.

Great idea ... the only problem is seeing to it that it gets to him and doesn’t make the mailman rich..

I’d contribute to a fund to fly George to Chicago so he can move in with his bro Barack and Michelle and the kids. And cover the result as a reality TV show.

That's why it would have to be set up by someone with the juice to have it done right.

Damn I can’t believe what you people are thinking wanting to give money to some dude that you don’t even know if the story is true.

If you all want to be charitable find someone in your area and give them the money directly.

I don’t have a lot of money but I know people that NEED help and I give to them directly, even a 20.00 bill is much qppreciated.

But if you all think this is such a great thing, who am I to say it’s stupid but I’ll save my money for the locals.

What's great about this country (still) and conservatism is that you can give PRIVATE CHARITY to anyone you wish!

Those on this thread that are advocating this are seeking primarily to embarrass B Hussein O and expose his hypocrisy and that that's a great goal! Besides, I don't think dropping $12.00 on this effort through a legitimate fund raiser is going to prevent most of us from helping those in need in our communities.

I can't even get out of McDonald's drive through for an after school snack for my kids for under $12.00.
