Were trapped in the Obama campaigns Cone of Stupidity and we cant get out. The latest Obama ad razzes McCain for not remembering how many houses he has. (But at least he knows how many states there are.)
Wealthy elitist Senator mauls wealthy elitist Senator. Snooze.
Yahoo! News is featuring the moronic gotcha story from Politico. And VP hopeful Tim Kaine is dutifully attacking McCains mental competence. You want gaffes that call into question mental competence, Gov. Kaine? Hello, Sunshine. Thank you, Sioux City. I see dead people. Iran poses no serious threat. 57 states. 10,000 killed. Etc, etc. etc.
From the McCain camp:
Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses? Does a guy who worries about the price of arugula and thinks regular people cling to guns and religion in the face of economic hardship really want to have a debate about whos in touch with regular Americans?
The reality is that Barack Obamas plans to raise taxes and opposition to producing more energy here at home as gas prices skyrocket show hes completely out of touch with the concerns of average Americans. McCain spokesman Brian Rogers

It's even worse. He said he'd already visited 57 states, leaving two more to go -- not counting Hawaii, which wasn't on his original list of campaign sites. By the Old Math that's a total of 60.
Although "fifty-seven" instead of "forty-seven" isn't an impossible or even implausible verbal mistake, given that he wasn't speaking from a PrompTer, it's still surprising. But we have a lot more, and much more, serious issues with the guy, and the clock's running.

How many homes does Ted Kennedy have?
Bambi said he would rely on Teddy for advice, so it is relevant.

Maybe I have missed them, but I see little reference to Rev. Wright, no questions as to how Obama would handle affirmative action, ho outrage at his amnesty stand or voting against the Cronyn amendment, relatively little discussion of his health care plan. But there is much discussion of fluff, of “Michelle said,” of being a celebrity, etc. While fluff should be mention, seems as if it is overshadowing more important issues. Maybe that is the purpose.

I should clarify that I was not referring to Michelle Malkin or her articles.
By "Michelle said" I meant Michelle Obama.
