DON'T STOP FOLKS!!
JUST SAY NO TO GANGS!!
Congressman John R Carter of Texas says Gang of 10 a "Bad Deal"
Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed a total lack of our "Establishment Media/Misinformation Socialist Monarchy" reporting on the price of gas and food for the past 2 weeks?
New FTC Rule Could Apply To Pelosi
After reading this post I decided to pull up her financial disclosure report and look for any other natural gas producers. On 11/8/07, she purchased between $250,001 and $500,000 of Quest Energy Partners, LP. (see pages 12 and 18). According to its site (http://qelp.publishpath.com), The Partnership owns more than 2,300 wells and is the largest producer of natural gas in the Cherokee Basin, which is located in southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma and holds a drilling inventory of nearly 2,100 locations.
Either she is so arrogant to think that nobody would find out that she is profiting by holding up new drilling and refining initiatives or she thinks nobody can touch her.
Has anybody checked Harry The Body Reids financial disclosure form? Id say check Obamas too but he hasnt done anything but give speeches.
BEHOLD the Power of the People, and the Power of
Nancy: "most open, most honest, and most ethical Congress in history"
Nancy: "and Democrats promise to work together in a bi-partisan way for all Americans."
What is the truth about Nancy?
"Madam Speaker has a substantial amount of money invested in Clean Energy Fuels Corporation." dontgo
From the same article:
"Only 20% of Americans now oppose offshore drilling.." Rasmussen
We have THREE DEMANDS for both the House AND the Senate! (call both House and Senate offices)
1) Congress MUST STOP PROTECTING Nancy's purse, get back to Washington, DC and vote on the American Energy Act!
2) Begin an IMMEDIATE investigation into CLNE, Pelosi, and other investors!
3) Demand that the Broadcaster Freedom Act be brought to the floor for a vote!
MELT THE LINES TODAY FOLKS!!!
As for the Gang of 10.
I had several conversations with these offices yesterday. They NEED to hear from us.
WE WANT THE BOEHNER BILL!
1) The House (Republican and Dem) has heard the people and know that this is the bill we want.
2) The Senate (this may be a surprise to some) actually represents the EXACT same people the House does! (amazing isn't it)
3) PREGO! yes, PREGO! It's in there! Boehner's Bill includes renewables, solar, wind, nuclear, AND drilling.
4) We don't want "something done" for the sake of "getting something done." WE WANT A SOLUTION!
5) If ANYTHING needs to added to the Boehner bill it is this, we need to allow drilling without interference of baseless lawsuits from anti-progress, anti-independence yahoos.
6) If BOEHNER'S BILL is not able to pass the Senate- then let the PEOPLE see that the Republicans offered solutions, and the Dems BAWKED!
7) If nothing gets passed-- well, the sunset on the congressional moretoreum will expire and then.......
LET THE DRILLING BEGIN!!!!!!!!!

The same politicians who are blocking future energy development are heavily invested in current energy sources. This is a blatant conflict of interest.

New Left Wing Anti-Energy Strategy: Drill Nothing, Tax Everything ( Newt Gingrich )
"The last few days have seen left wing anti-energy Democrats scrambling to find a survivable position.
When we first launched the Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less petition drive at American Solutions, left wing anti-energy Democrats were deeply and decisively opposed.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced that she was "saving the planet" by stopping drilling.
Senator Obama made fun of drilling and announced that inflating your tires would increase energy availability as much as drilling.
Congressman Mark Udall (D-CO), a hard line environmental extremist and anti-energy Democrat (and the author in the House of the ban on developing oil shale, a resource proven to have three times more oil than Saudi Arabia), was confidently opposed to drilling and comfortably ahead of Republican former Congressman Bob Schaffer for the Colorado Senate seat.
Then the American people began to sign the petition..."
Still here, still lookin’ for my traitorcrat senators.
Usually get an every morning nosefull of the wonder of their existence among us poor stupid rednecks, but both of ‘em are acting like tenants eight weeks late on the rent. Must be about to wear out those answering machines on their phones.
LOL
"Secretary of the Interior Dirk Kempthorne announced that the Western Gulf of Mexico Oil and Gas Lease Sale 207, held today in New Orleans, attracted $487,297,676 in high bids. The sale was conducted by Interiors Minerals Management Service (MMS) and had 53 companies submitting 423 bids on 319 tracts comprising over 1.8 million acres offshore Texas. The sum of all bids received totaled $607,134,968.
In the midst of the national discussion about energy production, the activity at todays sale signals that the offshore oil and gas industry is serious about developing our Nations resources, said Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne.
Approximately 17 percent of the tracts receiving bids are in ultra-deep water (more than 1,600 meters). The deepest tract bid on is Alaminos Canyon, Block 783 in 2,977 meters of water. The highest bid received on a tract was $61,110,000, submitted by Statoil Gulf of Mexico LLC for Alaminos Canyon, Block 380.
Each high bid on a tract will go through an evaluation process within MMS to ensure the public receives fair market value before a lease is awarded."
LET’S DRILL!

USDA: Food Prices to Post Biggest Increase Since 1990
"... Agriculture Secretary Ed Schafer said last week he did not see any relief for food prices during the remainder of the year.
The cost of energy used to transport, package and process foods is still boosting food prices, even though energy prices have dropped. Oil has slumped from a record high above $147 a barrel on July 11 to $115.
"We haven't seen those prices reflected in the finished products yet," Schafer said.
Americans spend more than $1 trillion a year on groceries, snacks, carry-out food and meals in restaurants. Farmers get 20 cents of the food dollar and the rest goes to processing, labor, transportation and distribution."
bump!
Speaker Pelosi, Tear Down This Wall ( Vote on drilling )
"For weeks (since the House abruptly adjourned for the summer), Republicans have been in Washington demanding Speaker Pelosi to allow an up or down vote to free Americas own energy from the Democrats embargo and ease the pain that Americans currently face at the pump.
Rather than offer solutions, Speaker Pelosi continues to insult the intelligence of hardworking Americans struggling to pay historically high energy prices. Members of Congress ought to do the jobs they were sent to do and remain in Washington until a solution to the countrys energy crisis is passed. Instead, Speaker Pelosi adjourned the House of Representatives for five weeks. Though she might have made environmentalists proud by turning off the floor lights, CSPAN cameras, and microphones behind her, they could not have been thrilled to watch her hop into her gas tax-exempt government SUV (no doubt with its tires correctly inflated) and her Air Force jet to go on a five-week, nationwide book tour. Her actions seem a little too far removed from the pain that hardworking Americans are feeling from high energy costs for comfort.
Perhaps Speaker Pelosi didnt realize that House Republicans hear the American people loud and clear, and she certainly didnt expect us to make clear that we have had enough of the Democrats embargo against the production of American-owned domestic energy. Over a hundred of Republican members have already opted to protest the Speakers vacation and have returned to Washington to demand that she call an emergency special session of Congress to vote on our all of the above American Energy Act. Surely $4 per gallon gasoline is more important to the American people than promoting a book..."
