Liberal bloggers advocate attacking McCain's age

Let me offer Obama some more free advice of my own, also worth every penny:

Don't defund the 527's. I know that this is an old one, and that Obama has quietly changed his tune on 527s lately, but it seems pretty obvious. No one is going to vote for you because you stopped the evil 527 money from entering politics. However, people might very well vote for you because the 527s unleashed a $125 million spending barrage against your opponent.

Target white Democrats: Pretty much every demographic analysis of this election has shown that Obama is over-performing other recent Democratic nominees among many subgroups. However, the only subgroup where he is consistently under-performing is white Democrats (white Democrats of all types, too, including liberals and younger ones). Bring them into the fold by attacking McCain as a Republican, maybe even with a 30-second spot that just keeps repeating "John McCain is a Republican," over and over and over. Lob something partisan their way to rally around the flag with. This might also keep the percentage of Democrats in the electorate quite high.

Attack McCain's age. This might seem more dangerous, and I have cautioned against it before. However, it would seem foolish to avoid it at this point, because all of the clever attacks are being directed at Obama. We need to turn the tables, and this would help out quite a bit. For starters, voters want "change" in this election, and old age is an antithesis of change. Second, there is already a well-established national narrative about McCain's age, so it would reinforce existing anti-McCain narratives. Third, if the attack was done correctly, there would still be deniability that McCain's age was even being attacked. It could turn McCain into an angry, whiny, too sensitive candidate, which in turn makes him look old and weak. The narrative can thus reinforce itself even if McCain fights back.

This is laughable. They have the preconception that people want change, even though no one who is voting for Obambi, knows what that change is.

If they actually have the audacity of attacking McCain’s age, it would backfire so badly. We can start the age discrimination angle.

Intriguing, you’ve posted a whole bunch of articles on FR since your join date, but have had little interaction. Interesting. BTW, welcome to FR...

Well liberal bloggers cannot defend the indefensible, The Obamination, so they must attack their competition. They are totally predictable and such losers. Societies’ dregs.

What can one say in the face of such brilliance?

“Bring it on!” perhaps?

Dear Valued Democrat and Retiree,

We’re writing to you today to inform you that John McCain is over 70 years old and that his judgment and his health are of grave concern to those of us who love this nation. We fear his advanced age has made him emotionally unstable and possibly forgetful and unreliable. We are also afraid that his health may also compromise his ability to lead this nation in these trying and stressful times.

If you feel the same way, please send a donation to our younger, more vital candidate, Barack Obama.

Thank you for your continued support...

Etc. Etc.

Somebody in another thread pointed out how much less of a Presidential pension John McCain would be able to collect compared to B. Hussein Obama. If they bring up age, this would be a great way to humorously defuse it. Or he could do like the Gipper did and point out that yes, age may be a difference but he refuses to point out his opponents youth and inexperience.

The GOP 527’s has a little bit more on Barry than his age.

Caca in Spanish means feces, fecal matter, you know the four letter word. Maybe he/she is actually a liberal in disguise. Mac, maybe you can guess what that means; McCain? maybe?

I sometimes have glanced at some liberal sites and have the horrible urge to vomit. Just glance at pravda.ru you will be hurling your lunch in 30 seconds flat. They can’t respond because they can’t stand the sight of our posts (it’s my opinion).

Reagan was almost 71 when he was elected. Yes, yes, I am aware than McCain is no Ronald Reagan.

I listened to Air America for a few this afternoon. A caller suggested to Ed Schultz that they:

1. Get Obama back to giving big speeches because voters are low-information and that is his strength.

2. Use - and I quote - “humiliating ridicule” in ads. Ed Schultz liked that one.

Seems to me they’d do better showing details of the change universal health care would bring, but what do I know?

And that reminds me - Canadian health care seemed to be the topic on left radio. They were really pushing it. Doesn’t the average person know Canadian health care leaves much to be desired, or is it only those in the border states?

Liberals are such stupid fools; they don't get that mama bear has already mashed the veggies into the sauce!

IOW, it's being done already.....to them!

Yep, like Clinton did to Bob Dole. Of course Obama needs the complete cooperation of the MSM but that is a given. Throw in the idea that he has cancer in temporary remission and he has been "vague and forgetful" in some situations (need to follow him everywhere but the Media will take carte of that!!

Now all you have to do is hope no one notices that Obama is a Maoist at heart.

Take it to the Bank, this attack will start in earnest during the GOP Convention. The "correspondents" will ask conventioneers if they have "concerns' about McCain's age.

Keep something important in mind...
For much of the deranged left, it’s about getting vindication for 8 years of abject hatred.

They WANT to see ads that are spitting vile, and thier kind of hatred.

They don’t realize that most of America gets turned off by that kind of vitiol, because everyone they associate with is hate-filled, too..

“because all of the clever attacks are being directed at Obama.”

The basic flaw here is the REAL attacks haven’t even started, yet...

The idea that they have a flawed candidate has NEVER mdawned on the minds of these Liberal idiots. It CANNOT be that Obama’s running a piss-poor campaign, it’s those evil Republican “ATTACKS”.

Exactly the same mistakes they made with John Kerry. And I’m loving every minute of it.

OLD PEOPLE VOTE!

I remember the first time I brought my pretty young wife (now ex) down to the polls. We were the only ones there under 70!

Go ahead, attack McCain's age. Hope he cries about it like Obambi does. He won't. He would turn it around on him.
