From McCain campaign:
Please see comment from me on Barack Obamas new ad supposedly running in Georgia:Barack Obamas ad is ridiculous. Because of John McCain, corruption was exposed and people like Jack Abramoff went to jail.
However, if Barack Obama wants to have a discussion about truly questionable associations, lets start with his relationship with the unrepentant terrorist William Ayers, at whose home Obamas political career was reportedly launched. Mr. Ayers was a leader of the Weather Underground, a terrorist group responsible for countless bombings against targets including the U.S. Capitol, the Pentagon and numerous police stations, courthouses and banks. In recent years, Mr. Ayers has stated, I dont regret setting bombs I feel we didnt do enough.
The question now is, will Barack Obama immediately call on the University of Illinois to release all of the records they are currently withholding to shed further light on Senator Obamas relationship with this unrepentant terrorist?
McCain spokesman Brian Rogers
Now that is the way to play ball! Smack the indignant liberal and smack him hard!
Smackdown!
I’ve heard the liberal MSM whining about attacks from McCain lowering Obama’s numbers over the past month. Well, I have new for them. Obama hasn’t even really been hit yet with the serious stuff. This could be an opening salvo.
WOW is right! Gloves have come completely off and I couldn’t be happier! Time to shove it back at the Socialist!
Obama was used to getting people out of the races by whatever means necessary but he is dealing with the big guy now and Sen McCain is not going to go away no matter what the twerp does.
SERVED. Point McCain.
There are also stories that a new series of attack ads is timed to coincide with next week’s Democrat convention, so hopefully this is a foreshadowing. There has even been a little bit of MSM coverage of the Stanley Kurtz/UIC document cover-up.
A big, stinking cloud of radical associations hanging over Denver would put rather a damper on things...
ping!
Just wait until the money connections to Middle East influence purchasers hits the media ... and the connection through Rezko to Saddam Hussein’s Oil for Food briber! Barry is toast. Jerome Corsi has so quietly driven the stake into the Marxist vampire’s heart the sound of the hammer hitting the stake was barely audible. This ain’t swiftboating, it’s vampire slaying.
Oh I’m sure the MSM will explore Obama Muad’Dibs relationship with William Ayers, right after they get done searching for the Loch Ness Unicorn!!
OUCH! That ad needs to be released PRONTO...in every state. And it needs to be amended with a “Why won’t Obama release those records or demand that they be released?” McCain ad should say: “WHAT IS HE HIDING FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE?!?”
And I think the Loch Ness Unicorn is a freezer in Georgia. Or was that Bigfoot? Anyway, the MSM did cover that! ;-)
Obama does not want to get down and dirty with McCain. There is simply too much ammo to use against him. Ayers is the tip of the iceberg.
An organization that raised and disbursed over $100 million in five years under their joint direction. Big, big stuff. And I just love that the Ayers interview in which he says he does not regret planting the bombs was published 9/11/2001 - it should be fully cited, and often.
I thought Senator McCain didn't know who he was dealing with here
I am loving this! I was so worried the McCain camp was going to play all nicey nice and be Dole II... it is so nice to see them swinging hard and busting the Annointed ones chops right and left.
Somebody like Uhbamuh will never admit he made a mistake in any association he has ever had in his life. This is the kind of person who will try to pass off a questionable association by saying something like “I might not have befriended somebody like X had I known their stances on things, but I don’t regret any association I’ve had, good or bad, because they add to kaleidoscope of experience that makes me who I am today.”
What was Obama’s new ad about?
