There are some even comparing Russia to the U.S. lead coalition in Iraq. But as was heard on a conservative talk show (forgot who), Georgia is a fairly democratic society, with a duly elected government.

But there were "elections" in Iraq under Saddam. Didn't he typically get around 99% of the votes? s/
