I’m glad my children are grown. You know this has been coming for a long, long time. Time for another one of those world changing events that move us forward.

My bride is pregnant with our first. I always believed my children would not grow up in a world like I did. A place where nuclear midnight was only a few seconds away, and we all knew if you saw the Minutemen and bombers flying, you were dead.

I grew up just out side of Omaha, the most targeted place on earth. We had a few “duck and cover” drills, but the CD guys all said we would die in the initial attacks.

I really hope that Pres. Bush and NATO know what they are doing.
