Liars as well as people who have face lifts blink.
Nancy’s facial skin is pulled so tight, I’m amazed she can close her eyes at all.
Maybe Nancy blinks so much, because that’s the only part of her face that will move anymore.
One more face lift and she’ll have a beard.
This is really quite good and is something to pay attention to when watching politicians (and others) speak.
Remember when Bill Clinton wagged his finger at us and said he did not have sexual relations with that woman? He had a strange look on his face when he was saying that. And he was looking up and over people’s heads out into the distance, he didn’t look anyone in the eye when he was saying that. It sounds like indicators like body language and blinking are very revealing.
I think it would be very interesting to replay that looking for the flurry of post-delivery blinks.
The article also mentions Obama’s Um count.
Barack would benefit from attending a few Toastmasters meetings, I think.
Um.
Lincoln, Blinkin' & Nod...
and here I thought she was blinkin’ ‘cause her skin was stretched too tight on that face!
In my experience, Toastmasters tends to be a rather bit more conservative minded bunch. Bambi would feel a bit out of place there, I suspect.
When she blinks the back of her neck tightens.
Those aren’t eyelids. Those are gills. She’s a Cephalopod.
Thanks for that mental image *barf*
other signs of deceit are a person looking up to the left before answering, atempting to cover ones mouth while speaking and repeating the question
.....
I never lie!!
If that is true, I tell the truth most of the time.
Sometimes restating the question is a useful method for ensuring that the question is understood and usually involves rephrasing - but restating the question verbatim probably is a good indicator that a stall tactic is being utilized, so good point.
I've not heard about covering the mouth, that's interesting.
