According to the rolling average at RealClearPolitics, McCain has narrowed Obama's lead to 1.9 points, and Obama has hit a four month low in his polling numbers.

Hillary would have to select Obama as her VP candidate to avoid fallout from her coup. That would keep everyone in line.
Obama peaked before the Dem primaries ended, with Hillary winning the big states. He’s been trending down ever since.
And since he’s all words, what can he do about it?!
For that matter, Hillary will lose to McCain, too.
Predictable, an empty suit cannot hold up forever.
I think Obama is rapidly becoming a poison pill and Hillary knows it. Whether she would offer him the VP slot, even if she got it (because it would be a bitter fight on the floor there), is up in the air. I believe they are going to lose in any case too.
Thank you, thank you and thank you.

Channel 4 News in Denver, CO is reporting that the Obama campaign has been lying about tickets to the Obama speech at Invesco Field in Denver, CO.
Reporters discovered a hidden link on the Obama website targeted to known high dollar donors. The Obama campaign solicited those donors for $1000.00 in exchange for tickets to the event.
This is directly contrary to what Obama’s campaign claimed.

And so it starts. Obama is starting his long death spiral that will end in defeat. The Convention and his big speech will slow down the trend but nothing can stop the decline. Obama is his own worst enemy.
Things will only get worse for Obama. That is why I hope he wins the Dem nomination. Obama's on his way down. They're on to him.
Hillary is waiting in the wings. She may still take the nomination right out from under Barack's nose.
We'd better be prepared for that eventuality. These next few days could get mighty interesting.
