McCain has done incredibly well in what amounts to the first debate of the general election, his campaign commercials are among the wittiest and hardest-hitting in years, and he has obviously been making a sincere effort to appeal to the base.

When does he stop being "McStupid" to you people?

Walter Williams is also too old, and having “two old guys” would truly hurt McCain’s chances, IMHO. Like it or not, McCain truly needs to pick somebody younger than him to be his VP, and the majority of people would agree with this.

My husband wants Thune. We watched him defend his ProLife stand as well as his other positions when he ran for Senator and were dazzled.

Haven’t heard much about Thune since then.

Oh, I know, every time I hear the black - oops - the dim party braying about how racist it would be to NOT vote for bambi, I think why, did you waste your first serious candidate on the former acorn organizer when the first black candidate could have been someone like WW?
