These shirts are part of a massive visibility campaign aimed at helping Obama win. If you can, chip in to help cover the production and shipping costs, and support our campaign to get him elected President.

They mention that it will take 4 to 6 weeks to get the shirt. Not much time for visibility before he loses. It'll be a collector's item--or a rag/work shirt. They ask for donations but it's not required. You do apparently need to provide a valid e-mail address, though.

There was a thread here yesterday about them selling lawn signs in Minnesota. A supporter couldn’t get one unless he paid up-front. Another thread reported how they came in way short of their goal of $100 million in July. I believe the figure was $66 million.

I wonder whether the campaign is not raking it in as they once were? Sure, $66 million is a lot of moola, but is there a downturn in contributions they’re seeing that’s bothering them? Just speculatin’.
