There was a thread here yesterday about them selling lawn signs in Minnesota. A supporter couldn’t get one unless he paid up-front. Another thread reported how they came in way short of their goal of $100 million in July. I believe the figure was $66 million.

I wonder whether the campaign is not raking it in as they once were? Sure, $66 million is a lot of moola, but is there a downturn in contributions they’re seeing that’s bothering them? Just speculatin’.

I just commented to my husband that in our heavily democratic precinct, I’ve only seen one Obama sign. Having to pay for them must make the difference because there are signs for local races in many lawns.
