Muslim rebel attacks kill 16 in Philippines
Kyrgyzstan News, Kyrgyzstan - August 18, 2008
Muslim separatist rebels went on a rampage in the southern Philippines Monday, killing at least 16 people as they seized towns, burned homes and looted ...
Given the hyper-redundancy of that statement, they could have shortened to: "Muslim separatist rebels woke up this morning."
But Muslims have historically been such PEACEFUL people...
By comparison, I was in line at Starbucks this morning and service was really slow...I think a couple of Christians in line got impatient.
Time for the Filipinos to do some Crusading.
Arroya is cool and strong, she has no ACLU to stop her...
Wasn’t their a Muslim problem during WWII? Also, didn’t the United States aleviate this problem by killing, painting them with pig’s blood, and “parachute” them (as in air-drop) back to the Middle East?
Sounds like we nede a similar solution.
The link in the post went nowhere ,, this is a link to the Yahoo News story http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080818/wl_afp/philippinesmuslimunresttoll
This was in the southern part of Lanao del Norte ,, near Iligan City ,, not good! This will definately get MGA’a full attention ... Iligan used to be a very busy industrial city and in fact has been improving greatly in recent years ... far too close to gems like CDO City (and the Maria Christina Falls power plant).
If she is cool and strong, why is she promoting (at least initially, before the Supreme Court put the brakes on) the sovereignty treaty that would have given the MLF and crew (the “I” is left off intentionally) considerable political and economic freedom in Mindinao?
Iligan City is a coastal city and, to my knowledge, does not have a large Muslim population, unlike the interior and certain locales more remote.
