I am more and more convinced that the axis Moscow-Tehran-Beijing has decided to split up the world. Asia to China, the Middle East to Iran and Europe to Russia. Russia is now pushing south to link up with Iran.

With proxies like Venezuela, Bolivia and Sudan, Zimbabwe plus more in future, they will be able to dominate S-America and Africa as well.

Poland has always been a target. There is nothing new in either these statements nor is there anything new in Russia's posture or designs. It is also irrelevant that the defense shield cannot stop an all-out Russian first strike: having a missile shield in Poland takes several limited tactical nuclear options off the table for Russia, and it takes all strategic options off the table for possible proxies such as Iran.

Politically, the fact that Poland and other former Warsaw Pact countries have joined NATO and are now taking more aggressive steps in forward defense means they refuse to be Finlandized. That is what Russia objects to, and that's why all the noise.

Well, it looks like Poland needs to buy some Indian missiles... and then build a few nukes to put on top of them.

And then state that, by targeting Poland, Russia is now Poland’s highest priority enemy. And enemies need to be eliminated.

To the Russians the ABM shield in Poland is nothing. It can be taken out by a volley of ALCMs or the destruction of the controlling radars. They are just bumping their gums because it wouldn't be Russian if they didn't complain.

The Russians will simply target the Polish site from the Kaliningrad Special Defense Region on the Baltic or from Belarus.

Bush should tell Russia the missile shield is NOW as much a deterrent to Russia as it is to Iran, based on the aggressive criminal moves by Russia in the last few years.

We need to announce the beginning of Cold War II, & isolate Russia just as we did the USSR. The Europeans need to find another source for oil & natural gas & cancel those Russian contracts. ASAP!

Else, Vlad will annex much of eastern Europe very soon!
