The tropical system currently over Hispanola has been teasing weather watchers for days, as hurricane hunters were unable to locate a surface center of circulation. Meanwhile, the system has looked remarkably like a tropical depression for greater than 24 hours. Local Florida weather forecasters are urging Floridians to keep a close eye on this system.

We ended up with about 6 1/2 inches of rain here in Ocala, no wind damage, good deal all around. See you for the next one!
Looks like fay missed ya the first time around, looks like she may have done a U turn and coming back to get ya if she continues the way she’s headed.

I think this system is forecasted to turn north and then go north, northeast. Hopefully it will rain on some of the drought areas in northern Alabama, Georgia and the Carolinas on the way.
