New McCain Ad: Obama's The "Taxman" (great ad!)

The McCain campaign this morning released a new ad, "Taxman," that suggests that Barack Obama's economic plan will lead to "economic disaster."

"Celebrity? Yes," says an announcer, as the spot opens on cheering crowds at an Obama rally. "Ready to lead? No."

She concludes: "Higher taxes. Higher gas prices. Economic disaster. That's the real Obama."

It's very well done. -- all the while you hear in the background the chant "Obama, Obama".

I just have to say wow!!! Only 32 seconds long and I think this is the best one yet. Keep jabbing at him McCain, it will eventually sink in to the independents and undecided.

The Democrats ran one about Exxon John and them taxing the profits from Exxon but they did not mention they already made more off of gas than those who did the work, This is another hidden tax the Democrats are seeking.

Nice ad - simple and to the point. using the old DBM headlines about “Obamonomics is a disaster” is a good idea. And the crowds changing “Obama” is truly frightening. (I hope that’s not racist - seems like everything is these days.)

I would LOVE to see McCain run this ad all through the RAT Convention. Show this clip of Obama in his own words saying he does not have the experience to be President. Add no commentary, just at the end say “I'm John McCain and I agree with and approve this message.

On April 15th I always drive slowly past the lines of cars in the main post office parking lot mailing their tax returns with Taxman playing loudly on the car stereo and all the windows down.

I like how they have featured the Obama chant in the background of the ads lately ..giving the chant a negative
perception with swing voters ... so that when they hear it at the convention .. it will be a negative thing.
