Photo Documents Barry Soetoro: Indonesian Citizen, Muslim Religion
We just received this photo of a school registration form, courtesy of reader “curious,” taken by Tatan Syuflana, an Indonesian AP reporter and photographer. To my knowledge, the AP has not written a story about this . [revision: There was an AP story story in Jan. 2007, but it did not include this photo]. The photo has become relevant now in the context of other revelations reported on this blog. Here is the AP folder where Syuflana’s photo was found: www.daylife.com.
The AP caption reads: “This registration document, made available on Jan. 24, 2007, by the Fransiskus Assisi school in Jakarta, Indonesia, shows the registration of Barack Obama under the name Barry Soetoro into the Catholic school made by his step-father, Lolo Soetoro. The document lists Barry Soetoro as a Indonesian citizen, born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, and shows his Muslim step-father listed the boy’s religion as Islam. (AP Photo/ Tatan Syuflana)”
UPDATE 8/14/08 10:00 AM ET: Matthew over at the blog Changeandexperience did some verification:
A quick search through Google reveals that there is an actual Associated Press photographer by the name Tatan Syuflana. It appears that this photographer specializes in the Indonesian region of the world. The above photo which is hosted on Daylife.com was uploaded about 18 months ago. The upload timeframe would have been around February 14, 2007 about 2 or so weeks after the document was released according to the photo caption from Daylife.com that states that the document was made available on January 24, 2007.
The date of January 24, 2007 was about the time that FOX news incorrectly reported that the Fransiskus Assisi school in Jakarta was a madrassa. The school itself is NOT in question. What IS in question is Barack Obama’s identity, whether or not his name is legally ‘Barry Soetero’; whether or not if he was adopted by Lolo Soetero, whether or not if he retains Indonesian citizenship …
Samples of Tatan Syuflan’s work appears in common news websites such as CBS, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Time magazine. What is still mysterious is that the photo of the registration document appears to have been scrubbed. In depth research finds that any site related to the Associated Press does not feature it on their site. If it did, it appeared briefly. The actual document itself is eluded to in various articles, find out more below.
What It Means
This AP photo is compelling evidence of the following assertions, which have been set forth on this blog:
1. Barack Obama had Indonesian citizenship
2. Barack Obama had the legal name Barry Soetoro
3. Barack Obama was a Muslim, despite his “fight the smears” claim that he never has been. (see new story that we just posted on this topic).
In addition, it means that Barack Obama apparently lied to the Illinois Supreme Court when asked to provide former names, according to this Attorney’s Registration Record:
When was Barack Obama going to tell the electorate about his Indonesian identity and citizenship?
What is the current status of his Indonesian citizenship?
Did Barack Obama travel to Pakistan in 1981 on an Indonesian passport?
Does his birth certificate say Barry Soetoro?
Did he ever legally change his name from Soetoro to Obama?
Is the correct name on the ballot?

Lolo Soetoros of the world are quite plentiful. To find them, all you need to be is an idiotic white female in search of a third-world lover, possibly a future husband. All you need to do is hang out on the edges of college campuses at the International Center. If you follow such procedure you will be sure to find brown- or black-skinned males suitably leftist for you.
They will all have Indonesian names like Soetoro. Or Kenyan names like Nyamonye. Or Egyptian names like Molokhya. Or Sudanese names like Umkulthom. Or Malaysian names like Selvaduray. Or Pakistani names like Farooq. Or Armenian names like Moutafian.

Really?! I can swear beyond the shadow of a doubt that my parents never had a wiccan phase.
I guess I just pay attention to those that I am related to. I have talked to grandparents, uncles, aunts, and friends about my parents’ growing up years.
To me, the ultimate burning question is......... why would he lie about his former name on the Illinois document? What IS he hiding?

The public should demand to know just who this fraud really is. I can’t believe Berry was dumb enough to think this would go unnoticed. He suffers from the dangerous combination of a large ego and small brain.
Barry Soetoro LIED on his Illinois documents about having no prior name. He BROKE THE LAW.
And he's been LYING to the American public about his Muslim upbringing while living with his father.
The Indonesian "keturunan asing" means "foreign descent," referring to the nationality of his parents and earlier forebears, not "foreign descendants." (As far as most people know, so far Soetoro-Obama only has two descendants -- Sasha and Malia -- and their debut was a long way off when little Barry was in the first grade.)
"Foreign ancestors" would also be an acceptable English rendering, despite the slightly antique register.
