Our beloved Freeper, Trueblackman, is need of our prayers. He was hospitalized earlier this week.
I asked if we could start a prayer thread for him. He said he would be very appreciative of his fellow Freepers' prayers.
So, thank you in advance, and please address your comments to Trueblackman.
Hopefully his condition will stablize and he'll be able to go home soon.

Prayers continue
Decided to head down to see TrueBlackMan during the Cowboy's game. Figured I wouldn't miss anything I was interested in. But TBM had it on the tube when I got there so I got to see some of the game.
TrueBlackMan sends his THANKS to everyone. He really appreciates the prayers. While he still doesn't have internet access, he was glad to hear that so many are praying for him.
He is in good spirits, especially with McCain's pick of Sarahcuda as his VP pick. He thought it was going to be Kay Bailey Hutchson, but is real happy with Palin. He has been in contact with some of his political operatives (libs and conservatives) in D.C. and they are still scrambling to get up to speed on Palin.
TBM said that he is expected to be out in several weeks. He is starting rehab to get his strength back. Several weeks ago when we visited him, he thought that he was going to be out in several days. Well, during the start of his rehab several weeks ago, the doctors found another small problem that had to be attended to. When TBM first went into the hospital, he was in serious condition. What is happening now is that as the doctors fix one problem, they discover another problem that sets back his discharge date. The doctors are adjusting medication and prescribe new meds.
So little by little, TBM is getting everything under control.
TrueBlackMan's October wedding is still a GO.

Thanks trooprally. Better for TBM to be under supervivion where medication, and its effects, are being adjusted — than home where changes can’t be watched as closely.
Not having FNC — and only CNN and MSNBC — the usual hospital stuff must be horrible. Does he at least have his own radio where he can get Rush? All hospitals should at least have rental hand-held thingies where you can access the internet. Mental health IS important to physical health, and being out of touch is NOT good for mental health!
