AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, Doctor of Democracy, and Chief of the Patriotism Police. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
A local distributor, Glaser Gas, Inc. They’re good folks.
“Has she been to Russia lately and does her hubby have business with them?”
I’ve been scratching my head and wondering why more people don’t investigate the Russia/Democrat Party connection. Then I consider that I’ve begun to call the MSM the Democrat Propaganda Ministry.
Pelosi doing business with Putin is not only likely, I’d almost bet my first-born on it being a fact.
Russia wouldn’t think about going after Georgia if they didn’t have tacit approval and support from “progressive” elements in the US.
(What a nuanced way to say we and Georgia were betrayed by the Democrats. Think I should consider a try at politics?)
Geez, and I thought I had it bad. Do you cut the wood yourself, or have to buy it?
Actually hearing about a nice big turd would beat hearing about the witch!
Not sure what my local distributor is charging. If I switched, I’d lose my tank (it belongs to the co-op...no charge as long as I get at least one fill/yr) I’d have to change location of the tank (too close to road, but grandfathered for now) and I’d have to run a very long line to where the new location would be unless I wanted it right next to the house...which I don’t.
HEy that’s great! WHere they happy you brought him back? LOL
“We expect Russia to honor its commitment to let in all forms of humanitarian assistance.”
Why would we even question whether or not we could provide humanitarian assistance?
I would think he would have said something like, "we're sending in humanitarian assistance and they will be escorted with air support".
But that's just me.
The problem is that education doesn't educate anymore.
The various uses of crude oil were once part of any reasonable high school science curriculum. And any nearby refinery was worth a field trip.
Today's high school graduates can't read, can't write, can't spell, can't perform four-function math and have virtually no knowledge of the nation's history or geography.
Leads one to wonder just what are they teaching in schools nowadays...

I see no other listings on the History Channel’s web page for a re-airing of the “Secrets of Oil” program. It was aired Wednesday at 8PM and 4 hours later at midnight (Thursday 8/14/2008 - last night). I think one may purchase a DVD of the program, however.

So much attention in this energy debate has been paid to the use of oil to fuel our cars and homes. But oil has a lot of other uses in our daily lives. Tonight on the History channel’s Modern Marvels, they will be airing a show entitled, Secrets of Oil. [At 8PM]
Here’s what the History Channel has for a teaser on their website:
“Rubber, Plastic, Nylon, Aerosols, Resins, Solvents, and Lubricants—none can exist without oil. If we stopped driving our cars tomorrow, America would still need five million barrels of oil a day. Visit Vulcan Materials, where oil tanks are emptied into massive double-barrel mixers to make asphalt and then continue to the Rolls Royce Aerospace Facility where complex jet fuels are blended. Travel back to the 1870’s to see how an unemployed whale oil salesman turned a greasy oil-drilling by-product into a household staple: Vaseline. Finally discover how cutting-edge recycling techniques can breathe new life into used motor oil, and where a number of renewable fuels and technologies take aim at oil sovereignty.”

I want to believe that our government is taking appropriate action against Russia, but I’m not hearing anything that convinces me. Diplomacy won’t work. It never works against tyrants. I’m totally in agreement with Rush on this. Russia has invaded a sovereign nation, and so far they’re getting away with it.
I buy..$55/load. Fellow has an F150 and he stacks it in the bed so the loads are good. He also helps me stack it in the shed and a garage stall. I’ve gotta pick up some chestnut and walnut from a neighbor once the temps. drop. That’s already cut to length but I will split it myself.
who’s fault?
Thanks. Maybe I’ll order the DVD.
