But "Obama" told the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of the State of Illinois that he had never had another name:
There may be a record, but by law, adoption records, including the birth cert, are sealed and can only be opened by court order at the request of the adoptee, adoptive parents, or in the case of identifying info, the birth parents -- in this case, all of these are dead, except for the presumed adoptee.
Without a court order by the adoptee to open the record, there's no way, as far as I can tell, to even know if a record exists.

He was “Barry Dunham” when he was 18 and graduating from high school. I don’t think a normal person would forget that. We don’t know what name he used at Occidental College, do we?

I agree that there was nothing which the poor child Barack Jr could have done about his crazy Mom, Stanley Ann Dunham Obama Soetoro [or whatever she considered her own name to be] and her bizarre antics back in the 1960's - nothing other than grit his teeth and bare it.
But you don't think it's just a little odd that the 30-year-old "Barack Hussein Obama II", graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, lied to the Illinois State Supreme Court, in 1991?
He was born, ostensibly, in August of 1961 [for now, the accepted date seems to be August 4, 1961]; he was admitted to the Illinois Bar, by the Illinois State Supreme Court, on December 17, 1991.
That makes him well in excess of 30 years old when this fraud was perpetrated.
All he had to do was to tell the truth: "For a time, during my childhood, I was known as 'Barry Soetoro'."
So why did he choose to lie to the Illinois State Supreme Court?
Why did he not want the Illinois State Supreme Court to know that there was a time in his life when he was known as "Barry Soetoro"?
In many states, even the adoptee doesn't have legal standing to force the records to be opened [which is a hugely controversial topic in American family law].
Odd that an SSS inquiry ends up being answered by an Obama acolyte who is the one who designed the SSS web site. The guy is guilty of impersonating a Federal employee, at a minimum, BUT WHY???

At 18 did he register for the draft? If one had his social its free to verify on the sss website.
One cannot prove a negative. the jesuits in high school and college were very clear about that.
The application would detail any non-traffic violations, no matter how minor, including resolution of anything he forgot to mention, which may be the reason he won’t release it.
He may not have lied about anything, teenage drug use wouldn’t be an issue, only an embarrassment were the information public.
