Good interview! LOL! Thanks for posting. Hooray Dennis Miller! I still recall his exchange with Phil Donahue on one of Phil’s last shows (or maybe his last). It was “must see” TV for me at that time.

I’ve been listening to Dennis Miller for years and time after time I keep agreeing with him. Western USA libertarian/conservative without being a nut about it, is how I describe it.

I just don’t want some a—hole from another country coming over here and blowing up their(gay) wedding to make a political statement.

Neither do I so let's keep gay marriage illegal, just for safety's sake.

He makes perfect sense to me. I don’t support gay marriage but I distrust anyone who makes the issue a priority either way. We have more important things to worry about, and like Miller I see most of them in terms of foreign threats.

I don't always agree with Dennis or his side kick, "Sal".

But I enjoy his radio show as a light respite from the normal hard nose radio talk shows.

(Q.)In just the past few minutes you’ve referenced obscure figures ranging from a '60s-era general to a vintage talking doll. Given your audience on conservative talk radio, are you too hip for the room?

Blah, blah, blah, Jeffrey. Guess what? I live out in the sticks, have a pick up truck, and my share of guns, and I never went to college, and consider myself a conservative. Yet, I like Dennis Miller, and usually get his references perfectly well, and would listen to his radio show if we got it on a daily basis in my neck of the woods. I use to watch him on TV, and still catch him on O'Bloviater's Factor show.

The boiler plate liberal insults in the comments section were nearly as funny as Dennis Miller (Whom I enjoy listening to whenever I can).

Hope this interview with Dennis Miller puts to rest the notion of him being a conservative of any kind. Supporting Bush in the WOT and in the battle for Iraq is fine. Other liberals like Jon Voight and Ron Silver have taken the same approach. They’re all patriots for that public stance.

On most issues, however, Miller remains a bleeding heart liberal of the first order. Miller filled in on Sean Hannity’s radio show several years back. He opened the show by telling the audience he would support even higher taxes to pay for an even bigger welfare state bureaucracy. And his support for homo rights, abortion on demand and gun control has nothing to do with conservatism.
