I just don’t want some a—hole from another country coming over here and blowing up their(gay) wedding to make a political statement.

Neither do I so let's keep gay marriage illegal, just for safety's sake.

The important question to anyone who cares about our republican, national/federal form of government is WHO should decide the question of gay marriage.

Hopefully we can agree as conservatives that the SCOTUS should not decide whether or not to allow gay marriage, as a national policy.

So what then? I believe it should be a state issue, and Dennis Miller should be free to live in a state that sanctions such marriages. Vote with your feet, as RR used to say.

There ought to be some form of protection for states who do not wish to honor such marriages, but there should NOT be a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage. It has absolutely nothing to do with Federal/National responsibilities. The only relevant question for the Feds is how to allow for some states pro-, some states con.
