Did you hear about the gas war in Houston yesterday?

Two stations - one with a grand oepning and an existing one had gas at $2.37 during their price war.

I'll bet that part of town had some traffic.

When I first left Houston to come over here in early '04, gas was running about $1.59 for the plus (median) grade. How things have changed.

Oh, they won't. It's just going to gradually shift from combat to support mode. The media's twisting that all out of proportion.

There was a big time traffic jam there for hours. Some people got in line at 330 AM and finally go to fill up at 8AM.

The local station just had this on their AM talk show and the owner of the new station was ready to drop gas to $.99 per gallon.

Did you have it on high heat? I have an issue with that cause it says one time for high heat and another for low. I’m afraid to leave it on low because of bacteria so I do it on high and that’s probably why it would burn, I’ve done that too.
