I know - almost anti-climactic.
The womens’ gymnastics third rotation (balance beam) is extremely tough for both the Chinese and American teams.
I ‘spect this is why Meg said she wasn’t going to give away the ending. It’s very close going into the last rotation.
I don’t think I’m going to say anything more, either; except that both teams are just exceptionally talented.

Unbelievable. Halfway through the 4th leg, I didn’t think they’d beat the WR by as much as they did. Wrong.
This is an awesome night of viewing...hey! Here comes the rain! This is a gentle one - great for replenishing the water table.

It’s monsoon until the middle of September, although the rains will taper off in the next two weeks or so. It’s been a good year this year, that’s two in a row.

All of the girls are terrific, but it looks like the pressure is getting to them. What gets me, is that they look like a team that’s lost instead of one about to win either a Silver or Gold medal...

The good news is, they’ve won a medal. And I thought sure the Russians would take the Bronze...
Anyway...my eyelids are drooping. The house is quiet, so it must be time to head for bed.
