NYT ^

Nearly 10,000 of the biggest donors to Republican candidates and causes across the country will probably receive a foreboding “warning” letter in the mail next week....

...The warning letter is intended as a first step, alerting donors who might be considering giving to right-wing groups to a variety of potential dangers, including legal trouble, public exposure and watchdog groups digging through their lives.

I wouldn’t be surprised, although, I doubt the Osteen mess is part of that. Seems she brought it on herself. Also, the Osteens aren’t on donor records in the recent campaigns as giving to Republicans. http://www.opensecrets.org/indivs/donor_lookup.php?name=osteen

I wonder how he’d react if someone took him to task and applied the same logic to him. After all, there is the “Accountability of the Public Square” he mentions in his website.

Members of the (once-great) Democratic Party are Neo-Stalinists
:::::::
Absolutely. You should research what the state legislature (Politburo) of Kalifornia is trying to propose in the way of Marxist taxation on wealth and death taxation. It is horrifying what these Marxists think they are going to get away with. It is so radical, it will destroy the state economy. It is all about radical redistribution of wealth to, in our case, pay debt that the state had no business creating. Record BILLIONS in the history of the USA for a state deficit. Yet, the mindless moron voters keep putting these socialists back into office. Horrifying.

The threat of this sort of retaliation for expressing political views has a name:

terrorism.

It isn't all briefcase bombs and jihadis who go 'boom' in the night.

Ah the NY Times. Who else would write such a story. One has to wonder how many members this group really has. Anytime the liberals write a story one must question whether the group is just some grocery bagger and his buddies that stock the shelves.
