FOX OREILLY DOES IT AGAIN
Texas Songwriter

Posted on 08/11/2008 5:40:05 PM PDT by Texas Songwriter

OReilly just announced on air that he had the entire John Edwards story last fall and chose not to air it. First it was Mr.Jesse Jackson's statements regarding the denutting of Obama, leaving off only the pertinent part of the story of Jackson regarding Jacksons racist remarks. He said then it was the right decision and tried to rehab his programming decisions in the eyes of the public. Now, he tells us he has sat on the story regarding John Edwards love child and paramour since last fall.

They report, they decide what we will hear.

He finished the story tonight by declaring he and his programming decisions were the right decision, putting him in the same category as the New York Times and Washington Post.

It seems he would have a little faith in the collective wisdom of the people of the United States (he calls the folks) to decide these matters.

The day BOR called FR a hate site I realized just how much of an idiot that man is. I haven’t watched him since.

Sitting on it did serious harm to Hillary Clinton.

I, for one, applaud O’Reilly. His motives were ridiculous, but the results are pretty good.

Does anyone remember the LA Times were sitting on a “big story”, and word was they’d only run it if the main subject became the Nominee?

There might be Roger Ailes behind the curtain making editorial decisions in matters of such weight

O’Reilly is a smug opportunist. Just ask those of us that remember what he did to the Swiftvets.

You know, there is a titilating side of the story which must be told to get to the criminal side of alledged misdeeds. In order to know that money may well have changed hands illegally, that hush money may have been paid, that criminality may have been committed, the public needs to hear the whole story. There is the moral aspect of the story which many people feel is a disqualifier for elective politics as well as Edwards being considered for an appointment. It is hard to believe OReilly and his cadre cannot see this as it unfolds.

I cannot understand why he has the number one show on cable.

Well, I guess I could. Look at the competition.

I wonder what Bill has on Obama that he will hold on to until mid Oct.? Or on McCain, for that matter.
