Israel remembers very well how the USSR planned to destroy the Israeli reactor at Dimona in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Only the Israeli destruction of the Egyptian air force thwarted those plans.

This is what Russia gets for supplying Iran and hizb-allah with rockets and bombs to try and wipe Israel off the map.

The Russian demand for Israel to stop military sales came amid the intensification of fighting with Georgia and carried with it the implicit threat of increased aid for Israel's enemies.Oh, noze! They might help Iran get nukes. Or sell radar to Syria.
I just hope the Iranians get the same Russian half azz that the Syrians got. lol

I say that we give Georgia 1,000 M1A2’s, 200 AH-64 Longbows, and 200 FA-18 Superhornets, along with Predator and Reaper UAV’s.

What to do with a dirty country like Russia. They are in their death throes.
Falling birth rates, galloping death rates, and emigration will put an end to the Rus. But in the meantime, they need to be quarantined like a Mad Dog.

Israel should keep the hardware coming. Increase aid to Syria and Iran? For a change?

Here's how some Russians are viewing the situation:
I expect we'll be paying through the nose for the terrible mistake of Kosovo for a very long time.

My, my Moscow is getting a mite techy about what the rest of us are doing with/about Georgia. Here’s to wondering why it’s Russia (Soviet Union’s) business.

And how DARE the Israelis help some tiny country hold its own against overwhelming odds? What were they thinking?

Georgia would not have made any such move into South Ossetia without the backing of the US. It now seems, though, that both the US and Georgia have badly misjudged the Russian reaction and the US are unable to move.

I hope they lose more than what they can replace.
