Kaczynski and his counterparts from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine could fly to Tbilisi later Monday or Tuesday, Mariusz Handzlik said. Handzlik said details of the trip were still being settledBrave souls. I wish them luck and safe travel.

There are five Presidents with guts. And they realize what this is all about - restoring the Soviet Empire.
They better hurry up, though, while there is still a Georgia to fly to.
To: Grzegorz 246
We were hoping Bush or Cheney would make the same trip.
Thank God for Poland. Its important that you guys do this.

Unfortunately for Russia, these folks [as opposed to us] remember. Anti Commie solidarity, you gotta love it:

They better hurry...doesn’t sound like there will be a Georgia for very long.

Bush and McCain should accompany them. But this takes guts and balls. The Poles and fellow Eastern Europeans who suffered under the Russian heel for so long, have more balls, guts and backbone than the whole US Government together. God Bless them. They will go down in the history as real men who faced a tyrant.

These Presidents certainly must understand that if Russia is allowed to “intervene on behalf of ‘oppressed’ ethnic Russsians” in Georgia, then it could be only a matter of time before Russia “intervenes on behalf of ‘oppressed’ Russians” in Lithuania or The Ukraine.

Take a look at this.
Suddenly I’m forced to have to change my mind. Bush should attend as well.
You guys were right.

God Bless them and give them safe passage. It is quickly becoming apparent to everyone that Georgia is the canary in the coal mine.

This goes to show you that, for the Poles, “Solidarity” is more than the name of a labor union. Godspeed the Fearless Five!

If you are posting from Poland, kudos to your President.
If not, I admire what he is doing.
When I read this it really moved me.
