The Poles and fellow Eastern Europeans who suffered under the Russian heel for so long, have more balls, guts and backbone than the whole US Government together. God Bless them. These Presidents certainly must understand that if Russia is allowed to “intervene on behalf of ‘oppressed’ ethnic Russsians” in Georgia, then it could be only a matter of time before Russia “intervenes on behalf of ‘oppressed’ Russians” in Lithuania or The Ukraine.

The flimsy Russian arguments don't even fly. The Ossetians are part of the Iranian ethnic and linguistic family.
