You bet your ass I didn’t watch the Olympics as I do not support the Communist Chinese in ANYTHING that they do.

BTW, I don’t HAVE to watch propaganda on TV supplied by the Chinese to know what is going on in the world.

Apparently you do and that is sad for you. It is also the reason that I have no respect for anything that you post.

IS the State Department retarded or something?

The Sov, er, Russkis don’t want “regime change.” They want control of the pipeline through Georgia, and, if possible, control of Georgia.

What a bunch of maroons.

Let’s invade Cuba, get rid of the Castros, cancel Cuba’s “offshore” oil exploration deal with China, eliminate the threat of a Communist government in Cuba. Surely none of our “allies” would object to this, given Russia’s invasion of Georgia.

What, exactly, is wrong with him? The fact that he’s a Muslim? His record as a diplomat is pretty good.

"Bikini clad Volley ball player babes ask for a pat on the butt for good luck. President Bush, instead pats them on the back -- photo snap -- upset posters, the whole thing."

Paul/Barr supporters manufacturing "outrage", IMO.

Ah, Khalilzad should have then turned to the camera and said, "That was sarcasm for those of you in Rio Linda."

RIGA, Latvia (AFP)--Russia's ambassador to Latvia Monday warned the Baltic states and Poland that they would pay for their criticism of the Kremlin over the conflict in Georgia, the Baltic news agency BNS reported.

You can see what Russia thinks about their transgression......................hmmmmmmmmm

Yep, it was a gutsy move, but obviously one these countries felt was necessary. I hope people listen unlike pre-WWII.

I think all of them see this in the same way, as does the rest of that entire continent, to include China!

All of us have had enough from Russia and do not wish to return to cold war status, however we must.

I think that this fact will cause actions, and this time, Russia may well have gone too far at precisely the wrong time.

The president was visiting the volleyball team. One of the volleyball babes turned her butt to the president and asked him to pat her on the butt for good luck. The president declined and instead patted her on the back. I guess some would have it that the president shouldn't visit our Olympians. Or maybe if a bikini clad Olympian asks for a pat on the butt, instead of giving the Olympian a pat on the back, the president should have cut his hand off and cried forgive me father for I have sinned.

Are you going to sing “Feelings” next?

You response is nonsense.

Your response was juvenile and not worthy of more than an electron or two in response. I guess old dudes patting young chicks on the butt supersedes supporting Georgia during an attack by Russia. I see your priorities.

Look at my posting history over the last 60 hours. You guess wrong!

What part of "the president declined" to pat the babe on the butt don't you understand. You continue to repeat a lie.

Unbelievable. Talk about "juvenile" -- shut your eyes, close your ears and ignore the facts.

The photo a is Drive-by, third-rate, take-the-president-out-of-context junk photo by Reuters, an enemy to this country and an allie to the Russians and Islamists. And you take the bait.

So, if the Russians are protecting their citizens why have they invaded a sovereign country (Georgia)? Or, doesn't Georgia deserve the right to exist as a separate county? Why should NATO bomb Tbilisi when the Russians are the ones that have invaded a sovereign nation?

“Peacekeeping mission.” Typical Soviet style propaganda.

“Why don't you honestly try to refute his post? Because you cannot?”

SkyPilot agrees that I was correct. See his quote and post below.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2059557/posts?page=90#90

“You are 100% correct. Just like you said, it is being reported that he patted her lower back instead of spanking her bottom.
I can't post the link because it is AFP, but here is what it said in this morning's Daily Telegraph.

May-Treanor then appeared to offer Mr Bush, who later went on to make a statement about the developing situation in Georgia, to spank her bottom as a symbol of encouragement. He took a more restrained view, tapping her lightly on the lower back instead.”

Eaker, this is what I posted:

“Yesterday the President visited the US women's volley ball team. Misty (I think that's her name) wanted the President to pat her bottom for good luck. It is my understanding that “patting the bottom” is a good luck tradition in beach volleyball. President Bush was a bit embarrassed so he patted her back instead.

Putin has already elevated the situation to hot by flying to Moscow or may be closer to the area of operation. I suppose Bush could fly to Georgia and stake out some territory but the SS would most likely put a kibosh on that. Of course leaving Beijing earlier than planned would escalate this dreadful situation to red hot. Hopefully the Pentagon and DOD have some nasty surprises in store for the Rabid Bear.”

You owe me an apology. If you don't apologize it will just reflect on your character or lack thereof.

I don’t owe you a damn thing.

A picture is worth a thousand words and the world saw Bush acting like a lecher. Fifty people saw your “explanation” and millions saw the picture.

Those millions have drawn their own conclusions just as sure as they did when Kerry crawled through the blue tube and Dukakis sat in the tank.

Note: People with real character don’t have to beg like a dog for an apology so nut up.

Typical woman. Didn’t even read or if so didn’t understand my post.

Got yer ass handed to you and you still want the last word.

Well take it Sally and I hope it makes your day.

Now, now, he didn’t patt her on the butt. Don’t get excited.

Next time this situation arises, I hope that the President does the right thing and calls for a substitute - like me. I will gladly assist the US Women's Beach Volleyball team in elevating their luck.

He actually handled the situation with aplomb (there’s a word I don’t get to use often), and it’s probably why people are trying to score political points over it.
